blu3hamm3r: I'm using a Nikion D90 and it's 18-105mm kit lens. What you've seen in the other forum are the few pics I have on the Mk6 and WM. Atm, me trying to build a diorama for the few white dearies I have wink.gif

Sky: Nice haul you got there.

Btw, I tot the Lamborghini Estoque is not nice to start off with? Kinda flop for having a four door bull...

Anyway, here are some shots using a different lens plus the wingless bird is out of the box wink.gif

Geeamino: Thx. Me just waiting for the time to do a proper one like Lenewin... smile.gif Btw, nice P4/5 there. Does that resin has any opening parts since you said the wheels can move?

Hacken: Thx, would be more proper if it's an Evo 9 but might think about Evo X since it looks nicer for me.

Well, still better than my mid-entry level dslr I've got biggrin.gif

I wonder who else here uses dslr to capture their "kodak" moments with their diecasts. I'm limited by my lenses and diecast tongue.gif

BryantNg : I have nice camera, great lens but i dunno how to shoot diecast......  >.< Try whole night still can't get the perfect lighting set up. Haiz......think need to custom made another portable studio box.
(ps* Shooting wedding photo is much more easier than shooting diecast)
*
Wah... wedding photographer. Me the opposite of you. I can only shoot things that doesn't move or run away:P Maybe with lack the macro lens since most of our lenses cannot move closeup. My last shot(SLS), I took it with a 70-300mm in order the diecast to be sharper than the zoomed 18-105mm.

Btw, what happens if we wipe our diecast with damp cloth? Will it rust or doing anything to the paint?

Yea. Wax is to sort of remove dirt(or imperfection on paints) while polish is to give it the shine.

I usually use tamiya wax and polish but that's only for when I repaint my models. I don't wax any model that's in stock condition.
*
Actually, it's the other way round... polish is to remove a thin layer of paint hence you remove scratches(if any) and wax is the add a layer of protection or shine.

I might try a bit on the black smudge on one of the diecast.

Btw, how do you transport you diecasts around for outdoor shooting? I'm still quite new to handling diecast and they are quite heavy.

blu3hamm3r: In that case, best leave it indoor and only do indoor shots... That's one huge details Aventador there. Must cost a fortune too.

BryantNg: Wow, that guy got all the SV colours.
