Yea. Wax is to sort of remove dirt(or imperfection on paints) while polish is to give it the shine.
I usually use tamiya wax and polish but that's only for when I repaint my models. I don't wax any model that's in stock condition.

leroy: Nice Spyder! new add?
JHW7507: Usually if it's free postage...it will be mentioned in the auction. If it's not mentioned, then you'll probably need to pay shipping. Alot of times, you need to contact seller first for shipping price.
For me, even if it's stated there, I ALWAYS message the seller to quote me shipping so that there's no misunderstanding later on.

leroy: haha. like i always say, oldie but goodie!
JHW: Yea. Usually you should ask the seller first before purchase coz since now you already pay, if he quote you a shipping price that you're not happy about, you have to go through a long process to see if you can cancel you order.

JHW: $300 is a great price bro for the SLR. Most of it now are upwards or $400.
Tax...that depends on how your seller does it. Lol. If they declare actual value, ofcourse will get 10-15% tax but if they declare lower value, then u could escape the tax.

yea. kinda up to luck...or how sharp those officers are. My R8 from germany didn't get released so I thought I would have to pay tax. It turns out, there was no invoice so I just bullshit that it cost RM300. Lol. In the end, the invoice was on the underside of the box...so those officers didn't check properly.

ALL my models are in my room...which is air conditioned. And...it's still okay...so I assume it shouldn't have any problem.

Aquila: CMC is probably the best diecast you can get. Exoto and Bauer would probably beat it interms of details but they can't compete with CMC interms of price. You can easily get a CMC for Zonda R price but the Zonda R has plastic everywhere and terrible mould lines while CMC's are pure zinc/zamac. Anyway, just did a small mod on my GTO.

hacken: haha. yea. As soon as I applied the stripes, I was amazed how much different it looks!
lkwanz: Was planning to use the silver on red but then, decided would look better on black. hehe. The rear FERRARI is photo-etch. I got it from Marcus last time.
aquila: yea. One of the best but because CMC, apart from the Mclaren SLR, only does classic cars. That's why seldom see CMC models here.

Wholesale diecast has quite a bad reputation but I honestly think that it's just luck. When I bought from them, they ship quick and pack securely and it only took FOUR days to reach from US to Aus.
Problem with them, for us atleast, is that shipping cost a bomb and it'll only make sense if they have some really rare diecast or if you plan to purchase 4 or 5 models from them to combine shipping.

The grey is the body. It's not much different from black but it's certainly ash...grey. Lol.

Well it really depends on how bad the defect is. For me, if it doesn't impact the overall visual of the car when you have it on display then, to me, $250 is not bad at all considering the rarity of the model itself.
But then, it's really up to you. If you feel like you won't feel satisfied, then you should return it.
