I started using the above card in June 2011 as I thought the benefits were quite attractive at the time, but have been disappointed to say the least

Hilton Premier Club Privileges:

advertised as a premium service with discount to over 40 hotels around Asia and Middle East; Reality is 15 hotels only between Malaysia, Singapore and China... it took 4 months to get the Hilton actual card as MBB did not record my new application address despite many phone calls

Exclusive Maybank Private Banking:

advertised as "unparalleled service and personalised attention, all banking needs taken in Private Banking Centres"
Reality is far from that that statement as I was told by the Private Banking Centres staff I only can pay or get my card statement....or become a member with RM250K minimum deposit...

Superior Credit Line:

given RM20K limit when you earn in excess of RM240K as criteria???what a joke

Travel Insurance Coverage

advertised as "can travel with complete peace of mind" when charging the travel tickets to the card
When I asked MBB WMC about the terms and conditions of the policy, they did not know, referred me to various departments, ending up with Maybank Etika who was a complete mystery itself.... Say you needed to use the "RM2,000.000 travel PA" then you must charge it to your card???? how to do it when you have as example RM20,000 limit on the card??? They could not answer the question. When asked to provide the policy they simply refused to do so

Converting Rewards Treats to Enrich Points
be very careful on the way they do it as points are easily lost in the process and when calling MBB about it, you encounter a wall of excuses

So would I recommend this so called "Privileged card to select members"? definitely not it's a farce

Yes it's rather funny; when the branch manager in Miri handed me the card, he said "what 20K that's ridiculous, how much would u like? I replied RM50K would be ok thanks. Sure he said I will contact WMC and organise it for you"

1 week later nothing so I contacted WMC myself and was told I was lucky to have the increase from RM10K originally on my MBB Visa Gold and had to wait another 6 months to ask for more......

Really I think the planner of this WMC had good intentions originally but somehow when handed over to his various subordinates, well the product became diluted and the end result is pretty poor
