Create a credit history. Do you have a relative who has a credit card? Ask them to supplement you to create recent credit history. My sister did that for me when I was in college and although I only spent like RM100 a month on it and always paid it on time, it was enough for banks to approve my credit card when I got my first paying job. My first credit card had a RM5000 limit!
