Was curious on something.

I will be moving over to a new property and with the ID cost ,furniture etc. Most of the things i can buy with my CC. Also will be trading my car for a newer one and the deposit can also be paid with CC. Since this will be the highest amount of cash I ever spend, was looking at a way to take advantage of this.

Which card has the best rewards point ratio to be exchanged with Mas Enrich points?? or any other frequent flyer points.

I travel to
London/Bern every Quater
Singapore every two weeks
Hong Kong every month

So far I only use Public Bank and HSBC.
HSBC relationship manager has forwarded my enquiry to the CC department but has no reply yet.
Public Bank was a no.

Any other bank??

Aiya ... feel shy lah.
Best card for frequent fliers

1. MBB World Master Card (Used overseas, 1 to 1 ratio on spendings to points)
2. CIMB Enrich World Mastercard (by invitation only and this is different from CIMB WMC hence best if you can get invited)
3. MBB2 AMEX card (Best for local expenditures)
4. Citibank PremierMiles (General multipurpose use but not very rewarding compared to the first 3 above)

Citibank I had a their Citi plat but found it useless and canceled it. So many times had fraud cases on overseas spending. Had so many issues with them.
1. I used to do a payment from my HSBC online to Citibank. There was a incident that i had used around Rm40k in a month and i did like 5 Payments. Only after 2 months they called me to ask about the payment. They had changed their system and 40k of my payments was sitting in their collection account with nothing debited into my credit card.
2. Citi Phone Is a Joke and cost me a lot waiting when I did calls from overseas.
3. Only stupid bank that ask you on compliance questions on every cheque issued from your own current account with your own money. Their compliance head must be a idiot.Banking compliance and bank owns compliance doesnt cover clients. They definately waiting to be sued on ambiguity since it always sides the person who signed the documents that was not drafted by them.
If talk about their their silly compliance, think even a whole page aint enough.

CIMB and MBB world. Hows their acceptance of this card in overseas spending??
Mastercard will be a issue in Europe as their more Visa based.

My dad had the CIMB World Mastercard but he had a lot of issues with this card when he went overseas.
So hence the question.

Invitation?? Wonder how that works unless you are in the CIMB database system.

Will check with MBB2 Amex.

I normally try to reduce the number of banks I deal with. Dont mind transferring everything from Public Bank to another local bank. Use them more for savings and atm machine convenience.

Thanks for the feedbacks.
