did anyone find the disclosure doc on the visa infinite? Need it to complete my blog post..

Edit:

Finished my blog post. Surprisingly, there are less information about this card compared to the Maybank2 card when it launched.

Conclusion: Best overseas usage card, great companion card for MBB2 Amex.

But why in your blog you did not stress spend RM50K get AF waived, much less than CIMB Enrich WMC and even MBB WMC.

I'll leave that for you biggrin.gif. To be honest I have no idea what are the spend limits for the other 2 cards since I have no interest in them. Did not bother to research other than general comparison.

Anyway guys, I was thinking about the RM2 = 5X TP and then it hit me, with my Maybank Platinum MasterCard (not MBB 2 MC), for RM2 I will get 4X TP. Therefore actually my initial statement that we earn 2.5% with 5X TP is WRONG. For the MBB Visa Infinite, for overseas, for every RM1 we earn 2.5X Treats Points. Therefore we only get returns of 1.25%.
I'm confused. Which card are you referring to? RM2 = 5x TP? To my knowledge the Maybankard Visa Infinite is

2 TP for every RM1 locally
5 TP for every RM1 overseas.

zenquix: thanks for the update, well the MBB VI truly a Premier card with RM2M insurance. You got the card already?

Anyway, your previous post, the picture says "FAKE SITE LAMAN WEB PALSU". what's that?

**Edited again**

hye, now I understand, you may have click on his "My Blog" in Signature that takes you to his feedburner site where the background is white. Yah, really hard to read with yellow colour font. Have to go to his main blog site.

To all: click here to zenquix's latest article on MBB VI.

thank you.. i already read the terms, but still didnt understand... thats why i ask here.. hehe.. my bad, sorry~  sweat.gif
from my understanding, the charges are as following

x<10months ... 17.5% p.s
10<x<12 months ... 16% p.a
x>10 months... 13.5% p.a
*
When you first get the card the interest rate is 17.5% per annum

as long as you pay ontime for 10 months continuously the interest rate goes down to 16% per annum

pay on time for 12 months and more continuously the interest rate goes down to 13.5% per annum.

Miss one payment or make 1 late payment and interest rate resets to 17.5% per annum and you start from scratch again

I have a question. Among credit cards issued by major international banks like HSBC, Citibank or Standard Chartered, which one generally provides the best conversion for retail transactions overseas?

Surely they don't match MBB's rates, but which ones are most competitive?
*
you can refer to https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1845691

think it is Citibank. I recall some posts back where it was discovered that Standard Chartered's rate is close to Amex's

Credit cards must have a credit limit. Charge cards have a "soft limit" where the credit is not stated.

Your friend most likely have an Amex charge card which was issued by Maybank.

Just noticed this Starwood Privilege Card is free for you. Anyway, are you a SPG member ? If you are not, make sure you enroll for it online. They will not automatically send the card to you. Once you have successfully enrolled for SPG online, click request card and choose your desired card design. You will get it in a few weeks time   smile.gif

Sadly no vouchers! I recall good things said about the vouchers that are included with the Starwood Privilege Program

Just for your info, internet access in select Starwood hotels is FOC as long as your SPG membership is active.

not entirely accurate. You need to be Plat SPG level to qualify for free internet (in places where it is chargeable)

Thanks for ur opinion. But the max RM250 liability was used in Diana Chee's case which was only discovered the next day.
Yes, they had immediately block the card at that point of time n this was 2 mths ago.
I'm trying to find some1 who is familiar in this area but still unable to.

This is an interesting case.
You might want to contact the lawyer that handle the case, Datuk Vijay Kumar Natarajan or even Diana Chee if possible

Recently received my MBB VI statement, somehow it was not linked to my M2U, and was surprised to note that my Treats Points earned have been inflated much more than 5X for an overseas online transaction.  Anyone experience the same?
no such issue altho it is a different statement from the MBB2 cards

If you can use the facility wisely as well as take good care of the card, it is always a good idea to have a credit card. Having a credit history helps too especially if you are gonna get housing loans and car loans in the future!
