No, this service is not legit. Refer here: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=29092186
Why incur that high cost when you can legitimately get a balance transfer?

Thank you for the reply.
I have 2 cc with me from 2 banks, it is either I apply another new cc for balance transfer
or personal loan, still looking for alternatives.
But i believe in terms of saving and interest rate, balance transfer is the best , correct me if i am wrong.

guys, wanna ask. is our card number is really confidential (to others)?
usually in receipt, they (merchants) sensored (put like XXX-XX) it,
but there is a few who just display all the full numbers...
how about the security then..

The copy they give us usually will state something like xxxxxxxxxxxx0000 but the one they keep have our complete credit card number printed on it.

Went to Singapore early this week and my family got to enter Plaza Premium Lounge with all my credit cards, but that was not the case for Skyview Lounge at Changi T1.

Click here to read my article titled Changi T1 Skyview Lounge with Priority Pass Membership.

those of you wanting to visit Singopre Flyer read this article at RWF.

I was told Maybank is in the processing of coming up with a Premium Newsletter for its premium cardmembers (wmc, vi and platinum).

So far, it has circulation of 6,500 cards for its WMC since the July 2010 launch and 4,000 cards for its VI which was launched October this year. It has 80,000 platinum cardholders!

Compared to CIMB which has approximately 60,000 WMC and VI and 2,000 Enrich WMC cardholders, MBB has a long way to go in promoting its Premium offerings.

Amazon will charge your credit card after they ship the item and not before that.
It takes between 2-3 days (or sometimes longer if it is the weekend/public holiday) for the charge to appear in your account.

And please don't call yourself a noob ... you are belittling yourself and your own intelligence.
Not to mention I have the impression most lazy folks who just want straight answers in here will use the guide of noob to get away with it.

I would have to agree on this comment. It has been months since I used my CIMB WMC and only for 1 transaction.

Has anyone with a Public bank credit card received their 8% or 12% cash back?

I did not receive any for the past 3 months even though I have 8 transactions of RM80... but my last (ie 8th) transaction is around 25-28th day of the month. Am I too late?

question:

credit card interest charge when together with epp
assume retail outstanding = rm2000, epp outstanding = 2400 (12 months)
hence : the total minimum payment = 5% * (2000) + 2400/12 = RM300
am i right??

if paying minimum only, does the epp outstanding getting charges interest?? (because i know the outstanding for retail will charges since the posted day)

Yes, the Midas is "prestigious" and has been around very long and many filthy rich men having UOB account has it. It can be said it was one of the very first Premier card issued in Malaysia. But the card not much benefit.

UOB has stopped issuing invitations for Midas for a few years I was told. CL ranges from RM 50k - RM 300k.

UOB is planning to introduce Visa Infinite in 1Q2012. Hope it will look as nice as UOB Singapore's Visa Infinite with the big visa bird hologram.

I understand UOB Singapore only issues VISA Infinite to their Privilege Banking and Privilege Reserve clients. So i guess it will be the same when they introduce VISA Infinite here in Malaysia ?

20 years ago, that CL was considered high, and not everybody could get the invitation.

UOB VI coming? Big wings hologram? drool.gif can't wait to experience the thrill if my application will be rejected or not and the number of the card tongue.gif I just checked their SG site and from what I can understand, the VI for PB account holders only.

Actually I was requested to fill up their survey form on CC when I was at their Jalan Raja Laut centre last month and happily took the opportunity to let UOB know that their cards are useless and hopefully the UOB VI comes with PPM and more than 0.5% cash back.

I was told Midas was introduced to Malaysia 11 years ago. Anyway, I'm sure your application won't get rejected lah. Especially the fact that you're their PB customer. Anyway, it's their loss if they were to reject your application, they won't get free publicity/review in your blog! biggrin.gif

I can only hope they will come up with something competitive with regards to airmiles accumulation. When UOB Singapore first introduced Visa Infinite in their market in 2003, one will get 80,000 krisflyer miles (i repeat 80,000!!!) when one pays the S$ 1500 annual fees.

Anyway, here's the big bird Visa hologram I was mentioning (design similar as RHB's VI):

Midas 11 years ago? I thought it was longer than that i.e. 1990s before we went into recession in 1997.
I am very sure it was introduced before 1997, unless I got confused with another card from UOB exclusively for UOB Elite customers.

UOB VI Annual fee SG1,500 shocking.gif Guess I have to look for my next thrill somewhere else.

Big bird, what big bird? I can't figure out what the hologram looks like, hahaha.

**Edited**
Wah, the SG VI was introduced back in 2003 and we now only getting it. Didn't know VI has been around for so long.

And if you notice, nowadays, credit cards no longer have the hologram feature.
