And you are asking in the wrong place. There's another thread which caters to questions like yourself.
Please go and ask there - not here.

is it wise to use CC if we can find other shop who sell something with cheaper price but need to pay by cash. considering cash back or points also consider expensive. i know this is subjective but many people go for CC and the only benefit I can see is the 20 days free interest only.

I want to know if there's a CC that can pay all sorts of bills (Assessment, Quit Rent, Electricity, Water, Indah Water, etc.) online.

Currently I'm using MBF Click and Pay to pay most of my bills online but there are some bills where I can't use MBF to pay such as KL Quit Rent.

I would like to know which is the best CC that is able to pay all my bills online. I don't really care about the cash backs or points or whatever not. I just want a convenient one to pay everything online so that I don't have to log in to other CC or use M2U just to pay the other bills.

Just now I noticed my GSC EON Credit Card ( now called GSC HLB Credit Card ) , the anniversary date is coming which is October. I called up the CS and asked them do I need to pay the annual fee. What a good answer from her cool2.gif , she said I already fullfill the T & C which is use the card for 24 times of swiping in less than 1 year regardless of any amount so no need pay and one more thing to my surprise that I no need to pay the GST fee. She said I fullfill the 36 times of swiping card and the bank will pay the RM 50 GST. What a day blush.gif

yah, MilesandMore highlighted it EON bank's RM50 GST with 36 swipes sometime back. But I don't think is applicable anymore to new HLB cards i.e. after this year anniversary date the offer should no longer applies.

Shocking reasons why Malaysians are living beyond their means
By LEE YEN MUN and RAHIMY RAHIM
newsdesk@thestar.com.my

PETALING JAYA: Shopaholics and poor management of personal finances - these best describe a good number of Malaysian consumers.

On average, 41 are declared bankrupt every day, mostly due to credit card debts shakehead.gif , while every weekend, about five million throng the 300-odd shopping complexes in the country.

These habits are among the shocking revelations on why Malaysian consumers cannot cope with the rising cost of living.

Fomca discovered that many of those declared bankrupt due to credit card debts were below 40 years old.

“And they do not care about the consequences,” said Fomca chief executive officer Datuk Paul Selvaraj.

“Many are facing financial difficulties too early in life,” he told the Protect Our Pockets roundtable conference at Menara Star here on Tuesday night.

Selvaraj said Fomca would embark on a financial education push next month with emphasis on teaching the young.

“In one of our surveys, we were shocked that many children did not even know where money came from,” he said, adding that most replied “the ATM (automated teller machine). doh.gif doh.gif

“And, they do not believe that their parents have to work to earn money,” Selvaraj added.

Malaysian Association of Shopping and Highrise Complex Management president H.C. Chan said its statistics showed that one in five Malaysians visited a shopping mall on a weekend. “And the country has about 320 shopping complexes,” he pointed out.

The roundtable session is organised by The Star as part of an initiative to highlight key issues faced by Malaysians in the face of the rising cost of living.

Other field experts who form the panel are Malaysian Retailers-Chains Associations secretary-general Valerie Choo, Carrefour marketing communications (Singapore and Malaysia) director Low Ngai Yuen, Performance Management and Delivery Unit (Pemandu) senior manager Phillip See, Pemandu director of National Key Result Areas and National Key Economic Areas D. Ravindran and The Star executive editor Datuk Wong Sai Wan.

Low said while some people shopped, claiming it to be therapeutic, “the truth is, it is not necessarily based on need”.

Ravindran agreed to suggestions that the Education Ministry should take the lead in teaching financial management in schools, but not as a formal subject.

See said handling personal finances was something the young had to go through themselves to gain experience.

On ensuring income levels were competitive, Wong urged the private sector to take the lead as most of the country's manpower was from this sector.

“We should also re-examine our heavy dependency on foreign labour and consider absorbing our senior citizens back into the workforce,” he added.

Some 60% of young consumers were already in debt, Fomca said at a separate function here yesterday.

“And, 72% of young adults have no retirement plans.”

Well, it is not a new story that many people go bankrupt with credit cards. That's why BNM move to limit CL to 2X monthly salary is a good move but I feel they should increase it to those earning up to RM5K/month and not limit to those earning less than RM3K/month. BNM should have also went a step further and limit cash withdrawal to not more than 30% of the CL or even ban it.

As for the statement children do not believe their parents have to work to earn money, well that's the parent's fault for not educating their children.

As for shopping, if you notice, HSBC credit cards promotions are mostly related to shopping (most recent shopping at Parkson). Even the 6% cash back with the MPower cards requires you to spend more than RM3K before you can be eligible for the 6% cash back.
