Im planning to built a total silent pc but the power supply seem like will bring the most noises. Im planning to water cooled my PSU which I change the 2 main heat sink in PSU to copper and let water flow through it. I want to ask, if I have enough copper and ensure no leaking of water, if there any problem for this project? Is water enough to cool the PSU down? Any1 have experience on this?

QUOTE(crthompson @ Aug 20 2011, 03:03 PM) watercool psu?do u meant like open the psu case then put some waterblock? yup Added on August 23, 2011, 11:05 pmQUOTE(middels8088 @ Aug 20 2011, 09:22 PM) PSUs don't produce much heat unless you are having an unefficient PSU... Usually a 80+ Gold/Platinium PSU with a wattage below 600W (can someone confirm?) produce so little heat that you could go fanless with it... So, go for fanless PSUs if you want 0 noise... water cooling a psu is almost impossible... really? If buy a good PSU I can straight away take out the fan? Wont spoil or overheat?
