Hi, I'm a student of Diploma in PR, currently studying in TARC KL Main Campus.

2 years ago, I was a student at TARC Penang Branch taking IT. I applied PTPTN loan, but after some amounts, my loan was stopped due to unsatisfactory results.

I withdraw-ed around 6 months ago, and this year, May 2011, I took a new programme, Diploma in PR as stated above.

My application for PTPTN was rejected, which I think is due to 2nd time application.

Are there any methods for me to get my loan back?

PS : I haven't returned the previous loan to them as I'm lacking of financial support.

The more they loan, the more I return in the future. LOL

No reply from them till today. My friend told me we could loan for the 2nd time, but I'm not sure how. I tried contacting him but it's as if he vanished.

If ure being a good paymaster for the first loan, then ure good to go but the first loan itself nothing, results also not satisfied, then how they wanna give u second loan? Thats y they rejected, no matter how many times u apply, they will still reject. They already have students not paying loan at all nowadays, so they are being extra careful. Just like bank.

With better results, am I able to reapply the loan?

looking at your results u need to repay your first loan, only can borrow again.

imho in your case it's hard to get the loan

why you said ptptn didnt answer your call? did you call after office hour?

before this i has problem also
diploma i borrow money
now take degree i want to borrow again
but they didnt process my application
i waited for 1 year
and last week i called plus send a report via www.ptptn.gov.my
problemo solved~
although the problem didnt solved right away
the ptptn staffs really helpd me a lot

Yes thats the main factor. U need good results, thats why they give u loan, to study. And also to pay back, be a good paymaster.

I think if u withdraw from ur previous college u need to pay them first before u can take another PTPTN loan.
That is based on my understanding as i havent deal with PTPTN before. I didnt take their loan as i find is too troublesome.
Yea,if u get pointer below 2.0 of cource or PTPTN loan for next semester will be with held until u get above 2.0.

and with ppl like our forumer here "hidan" that promoting and suggesting for ptptn borrower not to pay back. Im not surprised to see ptptn become more strict in their selection.

plus u have bad records there, bad results and havent pay back. i dont think they will give u the 2nd loan until u finish pay back your first loan.

its like bank la, plus its a loan. its not a charity programme. if its charity programe/scholarship also, u need a good results to satisfy them.

and with this kinda of attitude, what do u expect? if u really desperate need their loan, go to their office and talk with the guy there. instead of claiming they are bz and only make one or two phone call.

Problem is I'm not local, and I seldom have transport. I called them lots of times, I think my voice is familiar there. That's what the hotline is for, right? For people who are unable to go to the office to seek help through the phone.
