Browser stays in background while enter BF3?? No wonder you need 4GB RAM.

Even Chrome will take few hundred megs of RAM in normal use.

Any beta testing running it on a quad core CPU with 2GB ram? How's the performance? Tons of disk swapping or ok?

Check your current Mobo. Even if it say it is 775 doesn't mean that it will support the latest 775 CPU. Without a bios update your mobo won't recognise anything 2-3 yrs younger than it.

That's why I went to great effort to hunt down the last quad core that my current Mobo can support.

Yeah la.. If it is not because of COD, I won't be playing FPS. The first COD:MW get me hooked, then BC2 bring me to the next level. Now awaiting for BF3 wink.gif
