Battlefield 3 will need monster rig to run on ultra settings



DICE community manager Daniel Matros has been answering questions about Battlefield 3 on Twitter. Battlefield fan @bkohn1 asked him whether a rig matching the Battlefield 3 recommended system requirements would run the game on ultra settings. Matros replied to say that “recommended is usually medium.”

So will a top of the range Nvidia GTX580 do the trick? Apparently not. Matros revealed that we’ll need two 580s in SLI to make the most of the Frostbite 2 engine. The minimum system specifications may not be too punishing, but for those who want to see Battlefield 3 at its very best, a hefty upgrade may needed. Battlefield 3 may well be worth the expense. Would you be tempted to upgrade?

guys, where to download the beta this coming 29th?  and i heard those who owns moh can get early access as early as 27th. How to get that? .

i own medal of honor T1. so i assume the code will be emailed to me? correct me.

and all downloads will be under origins right? .

while recommended is 393watts

if not there are 150mbps version at RM69 for repeater option as well for modem router option

hurm...there are reviews which says this modem router stop giving signal to those connected at low signals but there are reviews which compliments its easy installation yet punch down by ''Unit tends to get warm while operating.''

won't considering TP-Link? its pretty good product though
i have setup a repeater my self at office
from low signal > repeater > maximum signal without no delay
except for i never try it for gaming

Yeah even Crysis 2 DirectX 11 ALREADY runs smoothly on a single GTX 580 @ 1080p. Imagine that it needs TWO GTX 580! They must've put a lot of effort on the graphics!
