i am still using stock ROM.
still facing crazy batt issue. i confirm checck wifi, BT, no app runnning...etc all off and even put under airplane mode

check batt = 40%, 8hrs later (woke up) - 2% left, this happens once a while on/off

sometimes, only 1% drop

how official GB will help solve this

think no more smartphone for me , but eyeing on:

xiaomi? seriously??
why not just go for galaxy s II?
2.3 gingerbread as stock rom d, no need modify anything

about your battery problem, i think you might have got a defective model
try send for warranty to get it checked
mine drops 5% over flight mode at night, just like Dannyl
the only thing bothers me is occasional hang after roughly 1 week of use

i don't think it's defective cos sometimes it's OK...as mentioned sometimes over night it drops 1%.

i believe some apps are still running at b\ground as cannot kill from the "front"

i read other people's comments - they too face issue - batt goes down fast

i too can say your hang issue is a defective unit smile.gif no offence

what's the reasoning behind this as i've used this for more than 1 mth

lol
I rather hang than have my battery dried off for no reason (no offense too) rclxms.gif

Try "Quick system info"? There's a quick task killer widget implemented
It helps to kill all tasks in the background with just a press of a button
Showing a message like "22 tasks ended, 0 ignored" (for example) and the ram would come back
most task killer kill tasks but not entirely shakehead.gif

I try my best to help
By far I'm satisfied with this app

1) Go to Andoid Market
2) Search for "Quick system info PRO" by Shawn Q. and it's FREE
3) Install
4) This app should start up automatically, try OFF it with the stock task killer in "settings" (because it diagnoses your system and showing realtime info which would stress your CPU and thus battery life will be affected)
5) Go to your favourite main menu, long press and Add to screen > Widget > scroll down until you see "Quick Task Killer"
6) It prompts to use "opaque" or "transparent" effect (set according to your liking)
7) A small box with "X" mark now appears on your main menu
8) Click it to end all your tasks, then check your ram amount with your prefered program (I use GO Launcher EX)

Voila
There will still be some task popping out, but those are original Android system programs which are inevitable
and some of the apps like "juice defender", "quick system info", "pesoguin clock lite" (for example) will still be on because you are using it all the time
However, those apps that you have opened temporary like internet, gallery, facebook, games and won't be using anymore will be ended
Do try and let me know whether you like it smile.gif
