How to convert to Ext4
First make a Nandroid Backup via CWM.
Download the Ext4 convertor script here.
Copy it to the root of the External Sd Card of the Phone.
Go to Recovery.
Flash the Ext4 Script. (Pl. Do not reboot the phone after this)
Restore the Nandroid backup immediately.
Reboot and enjoy Ext4.

it's no harm doing a failsafe i think, just backup contact and pic la.. won't take much time

btw i just found out tat my phone memory status revert back to original internal and external storage after upgrade.. ==


i am still getting hard time on getting the root thing done, last time using SOC i soo easy. facing alot of unknown terms now, wish someone can give me a complete guide to this cf-root.. totally newbie!

hmm..after flashing xxkph did u do a factory reset? and after flashing cranium rom v3.1 did u wipe dalvik cache?

yup i did so.. davik cache, factory reset not working though..
nvm will try nexus hybrid 1.2 tomorrow xD

Good to hear that you made it. I started from scratch, from dxkf1 then only flash dxkp9 cause both firmwares are from same region.

You put the cf root file into pda section. The guides in xda forum is sufficient

Gingerbread via kiss still not available right ?

I think Gingerbread has messed up my Launcher Pro Plus, its not as responsive anymore. Now it feels like Go Launcher is better, and stock is best. But the problem is TouchWiz is limited to 4x4 in home screen..

Wow in tat case will try to update via lies later. Coz I tried juz now using wifi via phone software update, it says no new software available.

Restart the whole process including the pit, pda, csc, modem etc?
Dxkf1 firmware has all the files, excluding the boot loader

try flash back to dxkf1 first.
then you can flash it to dxkp9.

Looks like the DXKP9 is the best firmware now? DXKP9 > XXKPN > XXKPM?

yup, done it now the phone is alive..
i flashed to xxkb3 then back to dxkb2, but no luck when wanna upgrade to dxkb9 through kies. it say the version of firmware i using can't b upgrade????

i tried reflash the dxkb2, but still same.. so need to dl dxkb9 from xda and flash oh?

Suggest you just use Odin, Kies is such a mess and always fail to download or upgrade firmware.
Odin is much simpler and easier. Save time as well.

i've got problem with papagox5. after download it, i discovered dat it is only for trial.. can anyone suggest me anything about how to remove the trial version? noobie here...
