shoot shoot shoot!
i just partitioned the hdd using http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html now it is in dos mode, been running for 8hrs already, still stuck in step 1.. if i switch it off and on, wonder what will happen??? i haven't created the recovery discs! (my fault!) |

Successfully revived my 4830TG recently.
Replaced 5200mAh oem battery, power adaptor & samseng 870 evo SSD. Still on Windows 7 (checking if Windows 10 can be installed without issues or not). What a legendary laptop. Built like a tank. However some plastics parts become brittle and Del key is dead. 10-years old but still soldiers on. |
