RM10 stamp duty + prorated charge (date installation until bill cycle)

Hi all, my first bill consists of RM10 Stamp Duty + Prorated Charge + RM149 for September (seems like this is advanced payment).

Is this correct? I thought 1st month waived? so shouldn't the 1st month bill (prorated) be waived?

Finally took the plunge and gotten myself a TP-Link WR1043ND.

Thanks to klseet, the firmware works like a charm.

No more problem using iDevices with the Wifi, previously need to reconnect every few minutes. I've tried all the wifi channels still same.

I am using the white color lucent BTU and 4 homeplugs.

There were some hiccups with the 4 homeplugs at first. i connect BTU to Homeplug on 2nd floor and TPLink on the ground floor. Then another set of homeplug from TPlink to PC in study room.

There were interference if i plug in all 4 homplugs and after i take out the Router to PC Homeplug the WAN light in TPLink is blinking normally, previously was blinking very fast like infinite loop.

So using the TPLink software, i separated the 4 homeplugs into 2 network groups, then been working normally since biggrin.gif

Previously i can't ping the black router from my PC, always time out. Now with new TPLink everything works smoothly biggrin.gif

And yes, forgot to mention IPTV works fine as well.

No need pay money lah, forum is for sharing biggrin.gif

But i don't think i can help you here, my BTU is Alcatel-Lucent. Not sure if ZTE poses any problem.

Maybe can check with other forumers or klseet?

OK let me try tonight and post results later.

One question though, the BTU has got 4 ports. We are only using 1. What can we do with the other 3?

im haivng TP Link 1043ND ver1.6, klseet website stated ver1.8, my question is ver1.6 can use the firmware?  does it matter?  hmm.gif

KLseet's website quoted a user with ver1.6 reported the firmware is working fine.

So it should be no problem biggrin.gif

On the phone number issue, u can choose to keep your old number, but Unifi will still give you a new number, no more using copper line.

However, to use the new number with your alarm system is still workable. You must ask the phone line contractor to link the new line to your existing phone line in your house. This is not 100% workable though, depending on how ur house line is connected at the DB (Distribution Box) and also where unifi cables are coming in.

On a side note, any Unifi users playing Black Ops on PS3? Do you ever get 4 bar for your connection? i am always stuck at 3 bars while every other players are 4 bars. Always die before i can shoot. sad.gif

Wired, NAT Type 2, speedtest with PS3 also around 4.5Mbps.

Still 3 bars only. U can get 4 bars?
