QUOTE(tlts @ Sep 25 2011, 01:08 AM) Oh ya any1 know any software to click to change ip adderess? Other then restart modem? Login to router and disconnect/reconnect? Shouldn't need extra software to do. I never run out of things to download , I follow a lot of my TV episodes, and my gf has her TV episodes to download ... always a lot to get Especially bigger size if all 720P

QUOTE(tlts @ Sep 25 2011, 01:33 AM) Haha i dun even know how to log in to modem but anyhow restarting will do. Oh ya some 1 say can get samsung phone or laptop at discount price is that true.i surf buy no such info. ...any link? You need to check, I believe is for new customers. Find out IP of your deault gateway and access that address in your browswer ... you can then login to your router and disconnect/reconnect. What is your reason for needing a new IP ?

I also use VPN but not for when I'm in Malaysia ... shouldn't be any reason to change IP to use VPN. I haven't seen any link .. sorry , but often got some promotion if join 2 year contract or whatever it is got free/discounted gift .... I also don't research because have UniFi already so it's pointless!

QUOTE(seme @ Oct 4 2011, 01:05 PM) i'm sorry if this is old topic.. is there any ways to fax thru unifi? it's hard for me to do my work. worst case ever for a SOHO user Register for online fax - I'm using a UK based one as my company is there but I'm sure Malaysia has online fax services too. I use it for receiving only actually, but sending is also possible (can set up to send from e-mail, scanner etc.!) better than having a fax machine standing around which gets paper jams

Just wondering if anyone here has gone through the procedure of moving UniFi to a differnent address? I'll be moving out to a different condo in a month's time and wanted to know if anyone has gone through this, how long it took etc? New building also has UniFi available (high rise also), wanted to ask here before calling up TM later this week! Thanks in advance

QUOTE(merru @ Oct 7 2011, 02:24 AM) is the cap already started or something? I mean all the speed seems to be crawling right now ..not just filesharing sites I think still got issues with international link. RDP to the office in UK has been slow since that started. Downloads from Usenet don't get above 300kb/s or so, normally sit at 1.9-2.2mb/s

QUOTE(llutephie @ Oct 24 2011, 05:04 PM) http://www.tm.com.my/about-tm/media-centre...ES4OCT2011.aspxHope undersea cable fixed already. My VIP20 only hit 1.3MB since october. They said will be fixed by 29th this month apparently ... but my Usenet DL speeds cannot max out all the time like before so maybe not complete yet
