Hi, anyone using Aztech HL110EW homeplug?

I bought it together with HL280E homeplug so that I can use unifi downstairs on my phone and ipad etc..

I tested the LAN connection works (using my laptop), however on the same laptop, if I try to connect it wirelessly, it unable to obtain the IP address and just keep 'Connecting...' and fail and retry again.. same for my android phone and ipad

anyone having similar issue? I wonder if it's related to the router settings

thanks

Dont understand your problem. Are you saying that with your laptop, you are able to connect to the LAN with RJ45 via the homeplug but cannot connect to the same LAN via the same laptop's wifi?

Did you assign fixed IP to both your laptop's wired and wireless network connections or are you using your router's DHCP function?

Duuuudeeee...100% coincidence? I'm having the EXACTLY SAME problem as you...even up to the word "ROSAK" on the d-link box...WTF??? Few hours installed now only the blue lighted button on the side works and all front light gone...i turn on and off got sudden power blink only...why are they giving us recycled d-links?

Its just unfortunate. Mine "overheated" six days after installation and they replaced it within 3 days. Since then, I have kept the DIR 615 in cold storage and am using a TP-Link.

Hi, i am new VIP 5mb user. Just got my unifi install yesterday.

Welcome to the club. Please keep your DIR 615 unit properly ventilated as it tends to overheat easily

I'm getting my unifi installed later this month. The place I plan to put my modem might not be the best for ventilation..

U read that tp link modem works for unifi n is a good replacement, but my question is, does it work right out of the box? Dont need to set it up?

Tell the shop you intend to buy from that you are using it for Unifi and they will do the necessary. Some shops would have already flashed the router and done the necessary setup to support unifi

I only switch it on when i want to watch TV as I did not want to risk it burning up as I too noticed it stays hot while in standby mode
