If you keep streamyx and also unifi, then you will have to pay for two types of internet la. But if you read the feedbacks so far, some people actually said that the internet on unifi not so stable sometimes since its still new and testing period. Streamyx seem to be more stable....

Like me now, the UNIFI still not working and a technician is coming on Monday. So perhaps I will not have any internet for the next 2 days.

So you could keep your streamyx for a month or so and see if Unifi is stable or not. If need to work off the kinks and bugs until its stable, then only terminate stramyx. I wished I have my streamyx now cause I am only using my maxis broadband with a limit of 3GB... sad.gif

thanks for your reply~

if the unifi still unstable and i use the streamyx as backup then i'll be paying 2 internet bills~ rclxub.gif
like that my wallet will dry up fast haha~ sweat.gif

will follow your advice and see how it goes~
wait for a month or two~ smile.gif

Let me put it this way. Its not IF your unifi will give you a problem, its WHEN your unifi will give you a problem.
*
yes, expected to give me problem in the future but hopefully wont~ sweat.gif

the Unifi guys came to my house much earlier than expected~
appointment at 2.30pm but they came at 12pm and settle everything within 2 hours~

Becareful when paying using CC, last month I did that, the first time it came to FAILED transaction, so I retried and it was successful. But both the payments oso went through, end up paying them so soon.

You can put a laptop fan cooler underneath just in case to keep the air circulation fresh. That what i did

Thanks, thats a good idea~ biggrin.gif

The modem is fine running 24x7.  Just don't stack the router or any heat source onto it and ensure some space around it for ventilation.  Mine is kept in a semi-enclosed cabinet  biggrin.gif

mine is kept on a shelf open air~ guess its alright dy~
problem solved~ thanks~

Go to any TM Point and fill up a termination form. They will take a photostat of your MyKad. It's up to you whether you want to keep and pay rental for your existing telephone line.  If you decide to terminate the line bring the TM telephone handset to return.

Thanks bro for the information~ rclxms.gif
