Has anyone setup the IPTV to use with PC Monitor? I connect mine and got signal not supported. Need to change it to 1080p. Not possible since I can't even see anything.

Hey guys, is the DIR bad for heavy downloads? I'm not torrenting, just DDL but I am using download accelerator. 10 threads each time. Each time I start download everything starts to crawl.
I always capped my download to not hog all bandwidth. For example my 1Mbps streamyx, capped to 100kB/s. 4Mbps = 400kBps. I capped my 5Mbps to 500kB/s. I know there's a lot of room left as I can achieve as high as 575kBps for my downloads but everything is just a crawl when I start downloading.

QUOTE(The 1 Coward @ Nov 5 2011, 09:02 AM) Hi fellow LYN-ers, Yesterday the contractor came over to my house to install Unifi but i didnt quite agree with the route they wanna take so i postponed the installation. My house is as pictured below: The fiber optic is coming in from the back of my house so they actually have to drill through the rooms to reach the living room upstairs (Spider mark). The contractors said my route is dangerous for them and it is not within standard installation; so they refuse to accept my route and suggested to drill through the rooms; which i disagree. Any comments?! Over the ceiling installation does indeed falls under non-standard installation. my installer told the basic price for is RM315. So yeah, your contractor is right. http://www.unifi.my/unifi/images/installat...-Diagram-v1.jpgQUOTE(MEngineer @ Nov 5 2011, 09:22 AM) The dir 615 works well for me. When I download torrents the speed will usually be 500kb and above which shows it can handle to load. Been downloading at that speed since installation still on good performance. I capped my torrent speed to 450kb because I face the same problem as you. If I cap at 500kb, the browsing is still slow. I see. I'll lower the cap later on but its kind of frustrating if I have to cap it at 450kB/s. I upgrade a whole 1Mbps but only get to raise 50kB/s of my cap. QUOTE(izzat80 @ Nov 5 2011, 12:07 PM) its not only the cap.. its the "max concurrent connections" or "max peers" depend on ur torrent program mean each torrent.. max peer can connect limit to only 50 for example.. not 100++ that one lower it u will see difference.. I am very sure you did not read my earlier post. I am NOT torrenting. I've stop torrenting years ago. Nowadays I'm just DDL. Max only 10 connection per download, 1 download only at any time.
