Ok but must the modem or other eq be switched on?

To use the normal phone just unplug the RJ15 from the DECT and plug it into the normal phone ?

But i saw that there were 2 RJ15 wires connected to the base of the DECT phone. what is for what ?

Dear Sifus

The indicator light on my Residential Gateway is a solid RED when i turned it on. Suddenly I'm no longer able to make phone calls. What gives ? anyone with a possible solution ? BTW i'm using a normal phone from TM instead of the useless one that comes with the UNIFI package
