I just received the bill from TM for Unifi, which is 104 from 13 august to 3rd September. But why will i pay 104 because my unifi worked only from 13th August to 22nd August. Now its been 2weeks without unifi, complained to SKMM twice already, and its still not fixed. Why i pay them 104RM for only 10days? WTF is this?

Even their online payment via cc shown as CASH.. rclxub.gif

guys.. tplink 8960n gooding? plan to get 1 to replace the dir615....
*
torrent wise, iptv, internet connections very good biggrin.gif it can handle global connections as my previous linksys.. since im comparing with my previous router, here's the negative comment from me:

-cant reset ip/ppp.. have to restart router.. still tinkering the shell..
-certain services(http, ftp) used by the router is always on, even to public, so you have to set password securely..

several tm technician came by to check my phone(not related), they saw the tplink router and they didnt say anything, which is good..

still playing around with the open source firmware.. smile.gif

btw, dir615 having lots of drop connections(even via lan) even with no torrent, so i just take it out and will only use as backup..

thanks a lot for ur reply..

how do u rate the WiFi range of the Dir615 vs this 8960n?  coz I always have drop signal or 1 bar in my room which in upper storey of my house...
*
it's not the best i would say.. im on intel 1030n, in 5 meter range, the speed is just 72mbps.. that's also the same speed when i place my laptop next to the router.. lol.. was planning to get asus router, but then read alot of complaint on the reliability.. so i have to settle with one, so i choose this router instead.. i have no complaint on the wifi even though it always one bar lower everywhere.. tongue.gif

If I can remember correctly, that member got BIZ at the office and VIP at home, So what he did is bring the STB unit to his office and key in his VIP user and password to get IPTV at the office. He was saying something about his home got ASTRO already.

That begs us the next conundrum. Can a VIP username and password be used in 2 different location?
*
Certainly yes.. even multiple "stb" in the same house under the same username/password.. smile.gif But then it's against their policy.. tongue.gif
