Hi all,

I would like to seek advise from existing Unifi users...  smile.gif

Is it worth the "gambling" to switch from Streamyx 4M package to Unifi VIP5?
I'm using Streamyx 4M without any problem, was worrying if the switch will give me more problem, thus, to regret?

Thanks in advance.  biggrin.gif

I will advise not to switch the unifi as the setting of hardware in your current streamyxx is really a headache matters ...( you need to judge as how to transfer ALL your connection on your router NOW ... to UNIFI hardware setup

continue using streamyx 4M ... !!!

I have just got my Unifi last 3 days. Well the speed is awesome! BUT whenever it reach 12.00AM mignight my speed will drop to 1mbps!!!! Anyone experience this ? I try to downlaod from many places (my private server which upload 100mbps, YouTube, other torrent) but still the same.

Yes I did try speedtest it show 4.8mbps downlaod and 6.8mbps upload (weird) but still the actually download speed when I download the file is only 1mbps. Reboot my Unifi for many times but still the same.

Any idea ?

And yeah I just same like i7 user which mine is Total Outstanding Amount: 95.51. Is that normal ?

Thanks in advance.

maintain your 4Mbps line since doesnt make much different compare to Unifi VIP5 package. if normal surfing, both are equal unless you are heavy downloader.

plus if unifi implement quota, then you are safe on 4mbps line (streamyx).

*
haha... If got ppl buy tell me arh. Then i consider selling it thumbup.gif
Even though i don't think anyone will buy.

yea... the antenna really kao kao. I never thought that it will be that big when looking at picture. I take out then got a bit shocking.gif a bit only la xD Tried to overload my wifi connection to the router with BT. No big problem. Doesn't require manual reconnection like what I need to do with DIR615 last time. Manual reconnection here I mean is... I BT BT BT then will suddenly got the exclamation mark on wifi icon and then must reconnect. Now won't d xD

Question:

I'm using VIP5 atm, can I change to BIZ5 in the future as a home user?
Any requirements? One thing I know for sure is that I need to return the TV decoder box bcoz BIZ5 doesn't have it in its package.

I don't mind paying extra RM50 when the download is unlimited, this is my PLAN A when the cap will be implement any time soon.

Hi guys,
When you login to occ.unifi.my, at the Change Password section, the High Speed Residential Internet cannot be clicked, so how do you change the password? Is the default unifi password also the same as the initial login to occ.unifi.my?

THanks.

That HyppTV screen resolution should put under 16:9 otherwise it gets stretched when watching on HDTV even it's connected with HDMI.
