I've subscribe unifi since August 2011 and my UNIFI got connection problem since 22 September 2011 ( Internet, IPTV, TELEPHONE) and keep dc,  i need to wait 5-6 hours.. i already make lots of complaint to UNIFI. They have replaced my modem from DLINK into ZTE Huawei.. and my connection keep down......

the best answer they give,

" Oh, modem Encik ni panas sangat, kami dah tukar modem lagi baru "
" Oh, network kami ada masalah "

I pay for 24/7 service, and i can on9 for 8hours per day and no one to call me back for follow up.

does anyone have this problem b4? is there anything i can do to solve it my own way? change modem? wink.gif

Which modem you're referring to?

TM is not using D-Link modem (BTU). They use ZTE/Huawei/Alcatel BTUs only.

D-link or TMRND are Residential Gateway aka Router. Which one they changed?

Last Sat, couldn't connect to Internet (VOIP light = red, WLAN light = orange).
Call UNIFI and they came to fix it on Monday.
Apparently, my cable in the MDF room tercabut.

Yesterday (Wednesday), same thing happened. Can't connect again. Call UNIFI and the available time slot for techinician is only tomorrow morning... vmad.gif
I guess the cable tercabut again... Really WTF!!!!

BTW, the speed really slow for the past 2 days, managed to get download speed <20kbps only for all filesharing sites...

Sometimes when others in yr area/same block with your unit apply for unifi, TM installers have to trace their copper line. It can happen sometimes. Happened several time to a few of my friends and also customer.

Looks like the slowdown on most filesharing sites is true. Thought I was the only one experiencing it. Haizzz...

Just wondering if anyone here has gone through the procedure of moving UniFi to a differnent address?

I'll be moving out to a different condo in a month's time and wanted to know if anyone has gone through this, how long it took etc?

New building also has UniFi available (high rise also), wanted to ask here before calling up TM later this week!

Thanks in advance smile.gif

hello. I am a unifi user and for a few months i have no problem with it.

However, recently, the wireless router seems to have some problems. Either my Mac could connect and my father's dell could not, or either his could and mine could not. Sometimes, we couldnt even detect the router.

I somewhat rectified this by sitting nearer to the router, but speed is still an issue.

Please help. Thanks. If this has been asked before, i am so sorry, but I just don't know if I can sift through 12 different threads. lol.

I am not trying to argue, but there is, DiGi, Maxis, Celcom, etc. Why? Cos they are using their own network for CS. Likewise TM, they have their own network, and why do they still wanna charge us? Why do we need to pay for their slow service? If they wanna charge us so that we don't call in to their CS, then they have every right not to set up the CS. Compliant to MCMC regulation? Give me a break, they are wearing the same pair of underwear.

Digi charged local call rate for their customer service..
