Thank goodness Arsenal although it's quite a poor performance! It's been really a long tine since we could ground out results like that, not forgetting we just lost our captain and with a few influential players and the manager himself not being on the pitch!!

Ironically our defence which was much criticised last season is now the very thing we can be proud of, while our trademark attacking play is nowhere to be seen. T_T

I'm really liking our new defence system - the zonal marking, the blossoming Vermy-Kos partnership, Bak's tireless performances. Gibbs doesn't look too shaky although he still gets skinned on the outside occasionally but he recovers well to defend. I'm more worried about the replacements - Carl lacks experience, Traore still isn't convincing, while both JD and Laci are shaky.

When Alex Song is the defensive shield+box to box+creative playmaker, you know the other two are crap. Sorry, Tommy... nothing more than a squad player. Sorry Rambo, you're nowhere near Fabs and in fact, not even halfway near Jack Wilshere. Suddenly the link with the experienced Jadson seems much more sensible.

Chamakh. Please Arsene, seriously, KEEP Nicklas. Anyone can have Chamakh for free. This is not the player who dragged us through half a season, this is not the player who conquered France with Bordeaux; this is a player who is absolutely clueless up front.

Gervy finally showed how frustrating he can be. Great movement all over the pitch... until the very final third where everything he does went wrong. Theo didn't do much wrong, but not much right either. Still, the all-important winning goal came from him.

1-0 is a slender lead, but I'm more confident with a 1-0 lead with this team than last season's.

And finally, Nasri you can seriously fck off if you're behaving like Adebayor. Sure, the fans went overboard in the insulting chants but who's the one that flirted with both City and MU in summer? Act like a prick, be treated like one. Bye now, fck off. Welcome MIYAICHI 8.

Our defence really improved alot.. we got Vermaelen covering the back, he saved our asses so many time.. BUt we really need sharper attack..

same old AW, always thought that his players won't injured through out the season... we might soon see Arsenal Reserve team playing in EPL... no doubt. Good for him la, deploy all his pretty boys...
