QUOTE(jonrwg @ Aug 20 2011, 10:23 PM) I got no problem with that. When young player turn into superstar they will leave Arsenal and the process will start again. So the question is, Arsenal is a football club or an academy to turn young player into superstar and sell them. or whatever you call it a supermarket? I call them "manufacturer" |

QUOTE(Angel of Deth @ Aug 20 2011, 10:26 PM) Everybody forgot about purchase of Arshavin, Nasri, Reyes, Rosicky, Hleb, Gallas Campbell, Wiltord, Julio Baptista, Adebayor, Eduardo, Sagna and even Thierry Henry (just to name a few). They all were/are highly rated and cost serious amount of money. Who's to say Arsene Wenger isn't serious about adding quality into the squad? Some of you tend to filter the good that he has done because Arsenal not winning anything for 6 years? hold on, how many of them were younger than 22 when they 1st joined arsenal? Comparing to AW current transfer policy, how many of new players are OLDER than 22> |

no surprise if we lost to manu 3goals or more..anyway...feel upset now. The club that we all love here doesn't show the passionate at all. Club is happy if we finish 4th place every year

Since dalglish back to liverpool, he has spent more than 100M..and now he doesnt plan to stop spending!!bear in mind, liverpool is not even in the CL qualifying round, but why they still able to get many good experienced players in (jose enrique, stuart downing, charlie adam)? Again, Im not frustrated because we got so many young and potential players. In fact, we need experienced players to bring up these youngster (for example, sub them during game, but not playing them for the whole 90 min). We have to use experienced players to earn points, but not taking any risks for these young players to gain experience. Look at enrique, how many times he stop walcott? Walcott like headless flies again...got the speed, but no clues on what he is doing. If he does have skill like CR7 or ronaldinho, I dont mind he does some dribbling...

QUOTE(little_mozart @ Aug 21 2011, 06:19 AM) It's trying time on Arsenal and Arsene Wenger now. But this doesn't mean we have to sell players and get money from transfer. At least we shouldnt sell players (fabregas case was an exceptional). Again, manu/liverpool didnt win for 20 years, does it means we have to wait for another 20, 30 years, or even 100 years? In this case, AW could just sell and get rid of those top salaries players, then get some qualities young players, with maybe only 10-20% salaries of those top players (and sell them when they get famous). We could do like what Aston Villa, Everton, fulham..etc doing. And guess what, we can pay off our debts just within a decade! Read again the article, from Gary Neville! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...ene-Wenger.html |

QUOTE(sakaito @ Aug 22 2011, 09:45 AM) Omg after these players left, we got spare budget on wagesDidn't any of u read the article posted b4? As suspected, AW n the board is at odds regarding player wages. Its not about the transfer fees coz that's pretty much covered. But its the wages. Damn those mancity n chelsea n other sugardaddies clubs. Inflate not only fees but also player wages. Shit! Believe in AW! But I think AW would rather let this team spiral n make the board realised that they need to raise the wage structure. Fabregas - 90,000 clichy - 45,000 and we paid Ryo - 15,000 (maybe) Chamberlain - 15,000 (maybe) Campbell - 15,000 Gervinho - 50,000 As result, we might have 40-50,000k/week wage budget |

AW had a chance to sign Mata before 1july (for 18Millions), but he missed the chance (maybe thinking to get him at dirt cheap price)!
Valencia is $hit and big liar club. 1 min ago, they claimed Mata is not available for sale, but the next sec, Mata already agreed the deal with chelsea. beside LB, CM (or play maker), we need a decent RW as well. Im pretty sad to see Walcott is not good enough (in the other words, same standard like before, nothing improved). He always has no idea what to do with the ball under his feet. |

QUOTE(JoyLee1055 @ Aug 22 2011, 04:19 PM) Arsene Wenger: ”I am a passionate person. It excites me sometimes to fight against the tide, against a lot of things. At the moment things are great, as I have a lot to fight for… I look at the players and if they are good enough. What you forget is we have bought players. We have bought Gervinho, Chamberlain, Jenkinson, Myachi and you will see during the season they are top-quality players. But at the moment we have to give them some time. Overall, we will buy… People feel I’m stubborn, I’m not. I just want to do the best for the team and to buy the right players. If I have shown one thing in the last 15 years, it’s that I have brought good players here. We will bring experienced players as well. People just say ‘buy’. But it’s buying the right player which is difficult… We have the money to buy players. We are not short of money. And we want to qualify because we want to play in the Champions League.” Talk cock again..Everytime says we got money, we got money, we got money....Now kaka is available, why AW never intend to buy him?http://www.101greatgoals.com/modric-on-str...at-city/103342/? |

QUOTE(little_mozart @ Aug 22 2011, 07:51 PM) Im upset because we are turning into 2nd class premier league team already (believe it or not). This might be some reasons that we cant see (or maybe this is the decision from arsenal board). We used to pay big money on experience players (Pires, ljungberg, petit, reyes, or even gallas...etc). Look at our current transfer policy, beside laici, who else is older than 21 years old. |

Also, we have lost 4 captains for the last 7 years
1.) Vieira 2.) Henry 3.) Gallas 4.) Fabregas Since 2004, we have changed 4 captains after Tony Adams retired. I don't know why we cant keep our captains at all...maybe they like $$ more than football |
