Any of you guys ordered anything from United Direct or Kit Bag? I ordered home kit and a training top.. cost me bout RM402.. when UPS sent to me, they told me customs have charged tax of RM87 on my parcel.. In the past, last year or so, I bought things for the same amount, didnt get any charges like that.. Did customs announced any new regulations ka? Anyone with the same story?

Not sure due to the value or weight?! I included Moscow 2008 UCL final programme book which was going for 50 pence.. Its quite heavy leh.. Value for money buy.. Feel proud to have it, the last time we won the Champions League (for the time being)..

Yes, I guess so.. They have start becoming stricter, goes to show that the Govt is working on a tight budget. So, making people to pay for things.. Even the police summons...the 50% discount exercise says it all... its ok with me.. i had to fork out an extra of 87 bucks...

So that was the reason.. I made my search and now understand this.. Set Freight Charges from RM40++ to RM287.16??? My God.. 7 fold increase!

So, guys.. Whoever buys jerseys and merchandises from UK... Assuming GBP1 = RM5, anything that we buy for more than GBP42.56, will be taxed by KDRM.. One jersey pun tak lepas la mcm ni...

SFC sudah RM287.16, u will be taxed for anything more than RM500, RM500-RM287.16 = RM212.84/GBP42.57 (GBP1=RM5).

Btw, my tax for items amounting to RM402 is RM62.21, UPS (M) charged an additional of RM25 as disbursement fee.. Rascals!

Have bought thru standard shipping before.. The earliest it will reach will be like 3 weeks.. and package went missing twice and had to ask for resend or refund (in the event items become out of stock). Thats why I gave up on standard shipping via royal mail..
