All you need is the apple hdmi adapter. Then use 1 hdmi cable to connect from adapter to tv.

Been using that. Excellent for watching movies. If you are still uncertain, goggle it on YouTube.

Hi, do you have the link for the hdmi adapter?

I can only find these few items here, http://store.apple.com/my/browse/home/shop...mco=MTM3NTQzNDg

Apple VGA Adapter

Apple Component AV Cable

Apple Composite AV Cable

but no hdmi.

Oh, and how's the quality? Will it have flicker noise?

Thanks.

You can't buy it online. You need to go to either machines or any apple resellers. It's called the hdmi adapter. Quality is great! Been using it for watching movies and I can say it's no bluray quality but it's not far from there.

Got any difference compared to typical HDMI port on tv?

So means need to buy this HDMI mini adapter then another to convert from mini HDMI to normal HDMI?

I'm lost lol... rclxub.gif

For iPad1, no mirroring support so only certain apps like video and games will be displayed on TV. For iPad2, full mirroring support for any app.

The Digital AV Adapter is not 100% compatible with iPad 1. Please use VGA or composite cables instead.

Oh that is strange. I've tried it out with my fren's iPad2, it worked ok.
Probably it's the setting of the TV?
Anyway, today i've just checked with another fren, he asked me to convert those files which i downloaded in pps/pptv and change it to .mp4, .m4p(?) or .mov in iTunes. Have not tried it, not sure whether will work or not.

Yes but that would be my last option, I bought this adapter and thought I can mirror whatever is playing on the iPad to TV.

When you tried your fiend iPad did you play the movie from apps?
