HOW TO INSTALL LEAKED BELLE ON THE n8

1. Backup your N8 with Ovi suite. Sifu Aspire recommends not to backup your apps. I quite agree with this. It takes very long to backup/restore your apps and they might give problems after we install Belle.

2. Download and extract: http://www.mediafire.com/?zr6csfhpcrbu7su
The password is: orvvan + mohamad 79
Extract it and place it into any folder which is easy for you to locate ie. Desktop.
You'll need it for step 9

3. You'll need phoenix on your computer. Google for it, or the darkside install link is on the n8 lowyat fan page in FB.

4. Download the leaked Anna files http://www.filesonic.com/file/1404156244/%...e%20059D2S8.rar
and place them in C/Program Files (x86)/Nokia/Phoenix/Products/RM-596
If the RM-596 folder is not there, you can manually create the folder.

5. Start Phoenix and goto file>open product>RM-596  Nokia RM 596 and press OK. (Make sure your phone is connected to your PC  )

6. On the top left corner of Phoenix, you will see "Connections:" followed by a drop down menu bar. Click the drop down menu and make sure "NO CONNECTION" is selected.

7. Go to Flashing>Firmware Update. Under Product code, click the box on the right side and select one of the variants and press OK.

8. Check "Dead phone USB flashing"

9. Click Options, click RM-596_022.014_79.92_prd.core.fpsx and press edit and change the file location to wherever you located the RM-596_111.010.0606_79u_prd.core.fpsx
Repeat for the other 4 files
I'll list it down here, make it easy for you guys to follow:
RM-596_111.010.0606_79u_prd.core.fpsx  --> RM-596_111.010.0606_79u_prd.core.fpsx
RM-596_022.014_28.01_Chinese_PRC_79.92_prd.rofs2.fpsx --> RM-596_111.010.0606_13.01_MEA_A_79u_prd.rofs2.fpsx
RM-596_022.014_C01.01_PRC_79.92_prd.rofs3.fpsx --> RM-596_111.010.0606_C04.01_MEA_1_79u_prd.rofs3.fpsx
RM-596_022.014_U02.01_79.92.uda.fpsx --> RM-596_111.010.0606_U07.01_79u.uda.fpsx

10. Now, Important :
Make sure RM596_APE_ONLY_ENO_11w15_v0.148.fpsx and RM-596_M025.44.emmc.fpsx are DELETED. Or it'll cause trouble when you're flashing.

11. Click OK and select refurbish. (I don't know if Update Software will work. Try that at your own risk. )

12. Follow the instructions when you're prompted to from Phoenix.
Note: If they ask you to hold the power button for 8 seconds, hold it for a little longer (probably for an extra second), till your phone vibrates for a few times.

13. Do not unplug your USB cable unless you're told to. And viola, Belle is on your N8.

14. Restore your backup-ed files to your N8 through Ovi Suite.

Used it a bit. It doesn't have splitscreen keyboard so I turned it off.

I hope Belle won't eat up too much RAM that will affect N8's multitasking

Just discovered one of Belle's preloaded features.

When the phone is ringing, just flip the phone to silence it.
Same goes to the alarm. Flip it to snooze.

Symbain is finally what I wanted it to be.

My Belle is working like a charm.. hahahahaha

May i know how to flash N8 to belle fw? using ovi suite?

can these apps run on belle? just want to know since i used these quite a lot beside opera.

didn't have a chance to tried it YET. due to sucked connection.

I like the new belle fonts too. If those really can't resist to flash use the cfw belle and not the original one. The new cfw is faster, smoother and fixed a hand ful of bugs

how belle internet browser responding...izzit as good as anna browser..

also, anyone noticed nokia situations failed to start on symbian anna? =(
