Okay, there's so many new/updated CFWs on Belle already and I don't know which to choose.
Also, I came across one CFW with ovi maps installed, I don't know what version it is but they have different icons/programs for the maps. ie. guides, check in, map loader, drive, and maps. What version of maps is that? I find it quite cool. |

QUOTE(jay2you @ Sep 14 2011, 05:14 PM) i using ivo777 i think is version 3.0. hvn flash to 3.1 or 3.2 n i heard a lot of ppl say 3.2 not so nice to use, they prefer 3.1. Yes. Me too. I prefer 3.1 over 3.2.Scrolling with 3.2 is as hard as rock. He sort of over did it. I prefer the default scrolling speed. |

QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Sep 24 2011, 07:54 AM) Wanting to ask how your N8's battery life like. Yes. the first bar is longer. it has been like that since i had my 6131 and N95 8gb. No gaming, minimal or no surfing, no 3G, may be 20 mins calls and some SMS, remove vibration, black background, no online widget, 5 minutes GPS. But Bluetooth on all time. Mine drop 1 bar after 10 hours. In theory, there are 7 bars with each bar representing 14.3% power but I felt the 1st bar represents about 25% in real life. Don't know what's nokia's idea behind this non linear battery bar... normal usage : 2 days or so for me. |

Delight Belle 3.2 was released yesterday - much better and more responsive compared to ivo77's latest firmware.

QUOTE(sklchan @ Sep 27 2011, 01:55 PM) Saw Nokia 700 and 701 in nokia store klcc already..Added on September 27, 2011, 7:15 pmNokia N9 is heading to the shops By Heidi posted on the 27th of September 2011 at 10:00AM NokiaN9BMC ESPOO, Finland – The Nokia N9 has now begun shipping to customers and stores. The beautifully designed device features an intuitive user interface that’s controlled with a simple swipe. Pre-orders for the Nokia N9 have already started in many countries, and people’s response towards the device has been extremely positive. “There is a lot of buzz around the N9 and the consumer demand has been huge,” says Product Specialist Risto Lahi from Nokia’s Flaghsip Store in Helsinki. “People love the new, button-free user interface and the intuitive way to browse the Internet. When they try out the device, they are first amazed and then impressed.” The Nokia N9 has three home views – Applications, Events and Live Applications – which enable people to navigate through the smartphone easily and get to their favourite content faster. A single swipe always takes you home, like paper gliding off a table. The Nokia N9 is available in three colours – black, cyan and magenta with 16GB and 64GB storage options to accommodate plenty of content and will be on sale in countries around the world. The estimated retail price of the Nokia N9 16GB and 64GB is approximately EUR 480 and EUR 560 before applicable taxes or subsidies, with pricing and availability varying from region to region and operator to operator. QUOTE(pikacu @ Oct 3 2011, 10:55 PM) I tested N9's virtual keyboard, both potrait and landscape are MUCH BETTER than N8's virtual keyboard. Didn't know N9 is in stores already. How can I lodge complain to Nokia , so that in their Symbian Belle they won't put the stupid N8 virtual keyboard layout, but instead N9 virtual keyboard layout? Sifu botak, N9's rrp is more expensive than SGS 2's current price. That's funny. And Nokia decided to launch the N9 right before iphone's release... Seriously gonna get their asses kicked... |

QUOTE(eugene88 @ Oct 7 2011, 10:32 PM) Meego can crack WiFi and run Android apps Could end up buying a N9. N8's screen is impossible for me to type on. lolAndroid can do ARP Spoofing using Droidsheep and can boot some Linux distro What can Anna do? Really hope there is some apps like Droidsheep in Anna Still the hacked belle is serving my N8 well Symbian has quite some apps already. Enough for me at least. I noticed that there are very little reviews on the N9? |

QUOTE(pikacu @ Oct 8 2011, 12:01 AM) N9 have BETTER vkeyboard then N8... No use. They'll wont listen.Im not sure where to voice this out to nokia devs...to include N9 vkb in upcoming symbian belle.. Played with a N9 just now. Really feels good although it could be quite not user friendly. The price is too expensive... With 1.8k we can buy other better smartphones in the market |
