Battery on my N8 will barely last through the day, and I like to get all the functionality of a smart phone.

So can I replace with higher capacity battery e.g:

Both (1400mah and 1500mah) is bigger then the original at 1200mah.

Anybody try before? Age of the phone is > 1 yr so no more warranty I guess to worry about. The video shown on many sites make me believe that the procedure is easy enough to do.

i using ivo777 i think is version 3.0. hvn flash to 3.1 or 3.2 n i heard a lot of ppl say 3.2 not so nice to use, they prefer 3.1.

i also use ivo 3.1, but sometime there's lag between menu and sometime phone hang...i not reset after flash...maybe that's why....so far still ok...

do u guys install garminXT. mine always hang when browse a map... sad.gif

I thought N8 battery is irreplaceable? Internal battery?
How to you remove your battery?

It can be remove by unscrewing it but not opening without any equipment

my n8 suddenly go sot after i uninstall sklchan's mod.. i cant go into camera setting..once i press the setting, it just close the camera and go to home page..and the gps keep trying to connecting and data connection also.. then i have to install back the mod..then back normal.. and now occasionally, it will keep connecting to internet and showing connection fail..cos i del the data setting to avoid connection without my knowledge.. then the wifi connection also keep connecting although i switch the wlan scan off and disconnect the wifi..i have to del the access point.. then now normal.. sad.gif

Yes. Me too. I prefer 3.1 over 3.2.
Scrolling with 3.2 is as hard as rock. He sort of over did it. I prefer the default scrolling speed.
