QUOTE(shuyina @ Aug 13 2011, 02:49 AM) hi LYN..what best antivirus/malware/spyware remover? i wanna know...i want the paid software one coz i have a difficult virus problem here...please... If paid version, better go for Kaspersky 2012.Since it's better best Anti-Virus and lighter with Hybrid protection. If Spyware, you can try with Malwarebyte 1.51. |

QUOTE(budingyun @ Aug 13 2011, 03:57 AM) I'm using the AVAST as I see it is free and AVAST is quite reputable I guess (from the name).. I scan and found 3 malware-ads, and deleted it, when i restart the laptop, the laptop are not starting up (This is the 1st time).. Lucky there is a restore point created by AVAST earlier.. 2nd time, I thought this has nothing to do with AVAST, so I install again and scan the computer, delete the malware-ads again.. This time I shut down my laptop. Next day, I switch on my laptop, found the same old problem, so I do system recover again as AVAST did restore point everytime u install it, but then, this time is not lucky for me, the system failed to restore back to previous restore point, so DOOMED.. End up I reformat my laptop.. |

Best antivirus is you surfing habit.
If you always simply simply click something, install something, no matter how powerful the antivirus, you still will get infected. Since you said you are facing virus problem (infected?), please proceed to ask for help to remove the virus. Installing anti-virus on a compromised pc will not help.
