RWD vehicles usually have the fan driven by the engine itself and not electrically operated as in FWD. Advantage of RWD is it is easier to balance the weight distribution of the car eg. the former Alfettas where they place the gear box almost in the middle to balance the car weight distribution for better road holding. If you are planning to take a load uphill, will it be easier to push from the back or pull from the front
I still like RWD vehicles as they are easier to correct when driving hard into corners and also there is no bothersome drive shafts to bother about. Drive axles are more hardy than CV joints or drive shafts. Ever wonder why AE86 are popular or the KE70 for drifting? Because they are RWD.
