After jacking up the rear, try moving the tire, there should be some slight play.
Most shops can do it, because wheel bearings are generic in nature.
High speed sound could be anything......are you even sure the sound is coming from the rear and is it exactly to one side ?
Other then noise any other sensations ?.
Anyways here goes....
1) rear differential (when was the fluid last changed) this is 4WD model right ?
2) drive shafts (dunno if your rear drive shafts wear boots not)
3) rubber mounts for central drive shaft
4) main drive shaft out of balance
EXTREME IDEAS...
4) faulty pressure valve causing the brakes to pinch
5) door seals blow out at high speed
6) I can go on forever.......
Sorry no I am not a mechanic neither do I own a car workshop. I am an enthusiast, petrol head etc etc.
the sound is quite obvious.. from rear, not so sure..
i was go to workshop, they say bearing faulty.. their way to prove is, when jacked up, the rear wheel is spin, and there is a click sound @ absorber on driver side, but another no..
1,2,3,4) no idea.. have to ask back..
extreme idea) quite sure not a brake squeeze sound, not door seal prob..
