Yes you can change country in Itunes, I have change my Apple account from Malaysia to UK to Australia. Make sure you have the proper address and payment type.

In Malaysia I used maybank debit card, in UK I used UK debit card and just change to Australia I am using Australia itunes gift card... all using the same account.

just go in itunes in your computer and view your account, it will show your Apple ID summary. (DO NOT CHOOSE CHANGE COUNTRY in the bottom of itunes this will only change the CURRENT store, not your account country) You need to choose MANAGE and log in into your account to change the account settings.

choose CHANGE COUNTRY/REGION 1st and then pick your preferred country. Then go to edit PAYMENT INFORMATION and choose NONE for payment type and make sure you have a proper US address,(just google how to create a us account) and key in your Itunes card. (your malaysia debit card will not work in the US/UK/australia itunes, I have tried it.)

When you want to update your app in your iphone after you change country it will give a warning and close the app store. no worries. just open it up again and update, now you have officialy change country in your comp and iphone.

But a word of caution, I have changed the country while I am in the country it self. If you are in Malaysia and change to US I don't know if it will work.

i have all three ... prefer fruit ninja: puss in boot .. more excitement and more features than fruit ninja ( just slashing nothing else boring after playing it) or cut the rope ( too much use of brain power, kind of give up on the though level)

I have changed from a MY to UK to AUS

From MY to UK , i have a valid UK debit card so no problem registering ( was a stud there for 3 years)

From UK to AUS , i dont have a valid debit or credit card so I used AUS itunes card. ( I have a valid AUS add , now following my wife doing her study)

Prob arises from UK to AUS, bcoz i bought a lot of app from UK stores and it didn't appear in the recent purchases anymore bcoz of diff country stores and i cannot update the UK bought app, but problem solved with a simple email to itunes staff.

Example, i bought camera+ long time ago using UK acc but when i changed to AUS it didnt show update but i know there is an update. So itunes staff reset it bcoz they have proof of purchases so all the UK app is redownloaded back into my phone now in my AUS acc

So my suggestion to you, get a US itunes card and a valid US add. and you are set.

If you already bought a lot of app using MY acc then go ahead and change if you don't mind the hassle of contacting itunes staff.

It is better to get a fresh acc rather changed due to lot of hassle. My 2 cent
