Open iTunes, click on your account and select Purchase History. Make sure it's only that one you've purchased, no in-app stuffs whatsoever (in-app purchases tend to be a culprit to lots of 'disappearing' credits)

But if it showed that you've only purchased GTA3 on a differing value, then you should send an email to the support address.

Not much a fan for this kind of 'grinding-only' game. Well, I'd see grinding as a not necessarily bad thing, but if a "game" is only comprises by that then it obviously got something wrong.

Well, it's like playing those Facebook games. Either way you'll still lose to those who are paying (well, I can't brain people whom flush their money on virtual currency), with absence of indulgence upon completing a game. Just like Mafia Wars.
