hi, anyone know of ways to stop the rear view mirror from rattling? tried reinforcing the stem but still rattles. would like to take them off and try stuffing the mirror but do not know how to take down the mirror. anyone has any experience taking them down? am driving a proton blm. cant stand the mirror vibrating already really disrupts the music when bass kicks in

=/ its not the roof that is rattling im afraid, so why apply sound deadening materials to the roof

so my best bet is to rid the roof of rattle and the mirror will follow suit? or is there a more direct way of killing the rattle of the mirror like putting sound deadening materials inside the mirror instead of the roof?
