OF COURSE!ipad is just for fancy and brand and not so practical.certain application cant be downloaded with ipad due to strict copyrights and stuff.
talk about a tab that is very user friendly,has good camera,awesome graphics display,and every application that u need,and yep,did i mention that u can even make calls,video calls ,and sms?u'll be surprised how great the 3g video call function is.nothing beats the 7'' galaxy tab.what more when u talk about galaxy tab 10.5'' coming soon,ipad 2 is certainly down the drain man.I mean,ask urself.you want a tab that has everything innit ,or just a tab to show of to your friends.if anyone here can tell me whats good about ipad or ipad 2 compared to galaxy tab 7'',i would really like to know

iPad 2 confirm FTW ...

90% is and none of them know what to do with it except for jailbreak,installo5 and play game.

lets put it this way for TS to have a clearer view which one she should go.

Galaxy tab is smaller and easier to carry around with medium handbags, while iPad required bigger handbag.
Galaxy tab requires more learning curve with their customization, while ipad can be use right out of the box without any technical background
Galaxy tab can make phone calls, iPad cannot - even if 3G version is only for data connectivity.
Galaxy tab is cheaper (RM1599) compare with iPad with 3G modem (rm1899).
Galaxy tab got good games, but iPad got better quality games.
Galaxy tab can do more IF you know how to, iPad can only do what they (apple) tells you to do.

Basically that is what i can come up with, but if you want comprehensive one.. you gotta give me some time..

If you ask me, i will go with Galaxy tab at anytime. If were iOS, i will just buy iPhone instead of iPad.

upcoming tablets usually Honeycomb. If you desire honeycomb, i shall wholeheartedly recommend Asus Transformer.

To TS. Half of the thread are epic android fanboys. Reading on pages of post, I find only seaedges post proves to be true and trustworthy.

Bottom line, best on surfing? Galaxy. Best on apps? Ipad2. Ergonomics? Galaxy. Intuitive interface? iPad2, least learning curve. Support & service? Ipad2, spec? Galaxy.

If you wish to have the best spec and not going to withhold the device for a longtime, pick galaxy. Else iPad.

My pick would be HP touch. I still think web os is still solid as there are some sites like hulu renders well under web os as compare to android.

If set your mind on galaxy tab. Just go ahead and buy it.

why would I compare with a tab 10.1? From my first post here, i told TS that galaxy tab is smaller and able to make calls is the advantage over iPad 2. If i am talking about tab 10.1 and iPad 2, my explanation would be different. take a little time to read the first few page before making a comment, as it helps to stick with the topic.

P/s: i know the spec of tab 10.1 btw. And i would prefer Asus transformer over tab 10.1 for personal preference.

but she could also be ignorant of the Tab 10.1, hence why she's asking "Galaxy Tab" instead of Tab 10.1.
plus, unless she specifically say that its the 7" she's referring to, why would you compare a year old tablet with iPad2 anyway? =/

One question:

Has anyone tried making calls with the gtab?
Is it any good? I see reviews that people were saying that the voice function isnt so good. Eg. the person on the other side cant listen clearly or maybe the gtab user cant listen clearly.

Also, if i were to use a bluetooth headset, will the voice be crystal clear?
