Sorry to sound naive here... I live quite far apart from Bukit Bintang and it costs a lot to go there. So, I would like to ask you guys if the books there are as good as Kinokuniya's?
Question: Are the books in Times Bookstores great?

Kinokuniya has a LOT MORE selection than Times.
I frequent Times Pavillion KL, once every couple of days. It's got what I want, though.. |

i agree with seedohbehlei, Kino has the largest selection of books in town, but you don't quite state what particular books you are interested in. having said that though you do find the odd interesting book or two at Times Pave or Bangsar Shopping. The newly relocated MPH in Mid Valley is huge but they never impressed me with their range but if you are there you can always pop into Borders in Gardens. In Bukit Bintang, apart from Times in Pave there is no other bookstore unless you are willing to walk to Berjaya to their Borders Express or BB Plaza to a small MPH witha limited selection.
my preference is Kino for books - it is worth being their member for their discounts on books. for Times - again membership helps and i normally get my mags and games from them as unlike Kino they have discounts on all their items. |

times is smaller nowadays...
if u can get to pavilion for times, u might as well stop by kinokuniya's at klcc as well.... i think going to mph (depends on branch) and kinokuniya is better than times, as the others said... btw...oh mai..did we revive an old topic? lol This post has been edited by cempedaklife: Jun 21 2012, 08:42 PM |

IS it me or does Kino nowadays rarely give 20% discount for new books anymore?
