Good catched. mixup the Inch & cm

From Plaster ceiling to the aircorn water pipe (bottom), should have at least 15inch (38cm), this is the size for 3HP and allow air flow on it.
Curtain track should be 3 inch (7.5 cm) from window edge (minimum)

Hope this clear.

My aircond is 1.5HP, copper pipe install done by aircond man.

Mine 1 from Plaster ceiling to the aircorn water pipe (bottom) = 12inch only, already adjust down the water pipe after install the L box.

and here is photo for master room abv the window, he also adjust down the water pipe and copper pipe hole after install the cornice.
I dont think can install the window curtain after install the aircond rite?

Added on October 3, 2011, 8:28 pmI checked the Panasonic website for 1 to 3HP, all have 29cm(around 11.5 inch) Height. Then i checked my room aircond the location of water pipe and copper pipe should at 10inch(from top of aircond). so i think 12inch should be still OK. If 11inch maybe the aircond will touch the plaster ceiling.

i believe mine after install may only have 1inch gap between the plaster ceiling and aircond.

the WORST case buy the sharp aircond have 26.5cm only.

I am facing this problem also. The plaster ceiling and the air cond pipe only less than 12" space which i think need to remove the aircond piping...
