Have a question regarding Pbbank BT, if I go for the 6 months BT for 1800, meaning every month I'll need to pay 300 right? What if I charge another 300 to the card, if I pay 600, will I be charged with any interest?

QUOTE(donpapachino @ Dec 19 2010, 07:13 PM) my chronology below: - 1st day submit application - 4th day call them, say approved already - ~10th day maybank2u already updated the transaction - ~14th day the other bank receive maybank's payment so i guess maybank are very efficient. Did Maybank create another account for the 12 month 0% BT or we cannot use the card anymore after we BT?

QUOTE(donpapachino @ Dec 21 2010, 06:45 AM) not sure until that detail n i didnt call the other bank. it is stated on the monthly statement. so i believed, it is shorter because need time to clear the cheque also. no new account, n the instalment will be part of ur outstanding. for example if ur outstanding for the month is 1k. n assume u BT RM2400 for 12 months, 1st month BT: 1000 + 200 so ur total outstanding becomes 1200. it becomes part of ur acc already. So, if we pay 1200, still means we pay all...and not to the BT right?

Is it 14 working days or include weekends? My statement is currently due 12th, and it was approved on the 6th. So do you think I should wait or should I just bank in the money??

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Feb 8 2011, 11:59 AM) Thanks for the info. Have you done BT with MBB? If yes, how does the repayment works? I did it once. Split to 12 equals repayment.

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Feb 8 2011, 09:28 PM) So MBB 12 month 0% plan is divided into equal installment. Forgot to ask, got separate account for MBB 12 months BT? Thanks. Well then T&C is should have been written clearer. Guess that answer your question Miles. Now just got to wait for jason to reply on separate account for MBB BT 12 months 0% plan. By the way, FYI CIMB BT no need latest statement. Last time OCBC got 0% interest free, so accumulated charges over 3 months period and fax to CIMB November Statement when I applied for BT in December. No separate account. It is inside the same credit card account.

QUOTE(romariotan82 @ Feb 8 2011, 09:51 PM) how long it take to do maybank BT ? I did once only, but it took quite some time from the day i faxed in till I see the amount in my targeted credit card account. 5th day only approved, then about a week later then only can see the amount credited to my credit card account.

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Feb 16 2011, 11:15 PM) Faxed my balance transfer application form to Maybank last Thursday. Just called their CS hotline a few minutes ago and was told that the application form is registered into the system just today I did mention Maybank BT process is quite long right? Anyway, the application form registered in the system could mean that it is already approved right? I can only see the deduction in another credit card only at the very last minute. So, you better keep following up.
