QUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 24 2012, 11:11 PM) Did Citibank create a separate BT account ? No separate ac , I have 2 cards with them and was adviced to BT into the "seldom" use card. Can we pay only 5% minimum month #1 to #5, and fullly settled on Month #6 ? HLB will create a separate ac for its BT programme and you cannot fully settle them within the BT period Yes, I only need to pay only the minimum 5% repayment from mth#1 ~ mth#5 and bal of the BT on mth#6 There is no penalty if i were to settle early ( no nid to settle as i can fully enjoy this BT ) |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 25 2012, 09:45 AM) if u hav a CiTi card now, i guess u can get the BT , i can giv u the officer's name and ext number6 mths Zero interest wei...........that will unlock quite some cash into the "open" for other purpose, and they wont care you use that amount to place another FD in another bank or to buy a yatch( modelling) but then again, it also depends on your available credit limit, so do it on a Platinum Card This post has been edited by digilife: Feb 25 2012, 10:11 AM |

QUOTE(roger roger @ Feb 29 2012, 11:21 AM) Boss, housing loan interest and finance loan interest is 2 different thing lah! If ur housing loan is not Super Flexi, u r actually paying the max interest in the first year and gradually to the least at the end (based on principle deduction)! Finance loan interest is flat throughout! U r the first human in this mother earth to say 4.2% home loan is cheap!! U can correct me if i am wrong. ++why is it that Banks will lend you a lump sum for 6 mths without ANY INTEREST CHARGED? |

QUOTE(shiroikun @ Mar 18 2012, 12:51 PM) Just want to share out on MBF lastest balance program. per annum?- You can only transfer maximum of 80% of your credit limit - 5.99% will be charge up front (1 time only) - 3 type of repayment depends on your BT amount a) RM1,000 - RM12,000 - replyment of RM99 per month b) RM 13,000 - RM17,000 - repayment of RM199 per month c) RM17,000 above - repayment of RM299 per month the period of the repayment is your total BT amount + 5.99% divide by RM99/RM199/RM299 depends on which category you fall into. - The repayment period may more than 10 years with only 5.99% interest - 1 more T & C which is you must swipe RM300 per month to enjoy 0% of charge of the particular month else you will be charge the retail interest % base on individual - No additional account created, it will credit the installment amount to your CC month Any comments? not a bad idea if you take a BIG BT to settle the housing loan |
