I am a bit confused with OCBC BT after talking with CS. they said the 0% interest will remain as it is in 6 months so long if you settle in full the retail purchased every month. when I asked whether we need to pay at least 5% from the BT, they said no.
e.g. BT 10K, retail, 2k. so long you pay 2k you are not required to pay even 5% of 10k until the month 7.
on the other hand, if you make no retail and BT 10K, I assume we need to pay at least 5% from that 10k.
is it true or not

yes, but is it considered advantages of the card? just need to pay in full the retail (i use 1k per month) and don't have to pay the BT for a while. park the money somewhere else

QUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 16 2012, 02:51 PM) UOB New-To-Bank Balance Transfer ApplicationSubmitted : 16 Feb 2012 (via UOB Sales Agent) Approved : Payment to CC : for new to bank or existing cards user? application for BSN is a bit difficult, you can't fax or email the form + docs they want to see the original one. You also need to get your employer to certify your pay slips

i have experienced with 0% from OCBC, you can ask for waiver for the finance charges provided you always pay in full (5% BT + retails). but very tired to call every month for the next 6 months

yes same on statement date, my experience I did pay the interest at first but the waiver will be shown in the next statement meaning you can pay less next month + the next month interest if you still has retail transactions. then need to call again
