QUOTE(N27 @ Jan 12 2012, 02:30 PM) Maybank totally s**ks in term of cc bt, they don't have courtesy like cimb to give a call to customer if credit available is not enough. Plus you may only transfer 90% of available credit You should ask them how much credit limit you left, and you can do the calculation by yourself

QUOTE(temptation1314 @ Jan 17 2012, 11:29 AM) This is weird 24 months BT interest is lower than 12 months one http://www.alliancebank.com.my/catalog/pri...gue.aspx?cat=74Just found out that it is not 2% for 2 years. It is 4% upfront for 2 years and it is installment type This post has been edited by gerrardling: Jan 17 2012, 11:35 AM

QUOTE(wrb7878 @ Jan 30 2012, 11:19 AM) i write to CIMB and hope they can bring back the I.smart plan. I use it on last year for 2%@10month, and now HSBC is 3%@10 and 5%@20month. I have used all my credit limit on HSBC and they reject my credit limit increase. So now i look for any GOOD offer. Citibank is super expensive!!! go for ambank or public bank

QUOTE(jamestan88 @ Feb 21 2012, 09:11 PM) seems like you have no ideal at all what is balance transfer. HLB can do BT even though you dont have any outstanding balance Added on February 21, 2012, 11:48 pmQUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 21 2012, 09:29 PM) But very sure HLB's Balance Transfer program offers higher interest rate.... 0.50% per mth for 6 mths. still consider ok Added on February 21, 2012, 11:49 pmQUOTE(seydee @ Feb 21 2012, 10:09 PM) Putting aside the 0% BT by Public Bank and BSN, the next best deal is from Alliance Bank at 2% for 24 months. Alliance Bank is 2% per annum, that mean 4% for 24 months. This post has been edited by gerrardling: Feb 21 2012, 11:49 PM

QUOTE(jamestan88 @ Feb 22 2012, 03:43 PM) i had never knew that balance trnsfer can be done without credit card outstanding balance. what is the interest ? basically, the highest interest of balance transfer which acceptable to me is 3%, of course many banks now doing 0% for 6 months or 3% annually for 12 months. some bank such as standard chrtered, which charge 6% is considered ridiculous. for HLB interest rate, you can refer to this link http://www.hlb.com.my/pfs/cc/ccbt.jsp?flag=ccbt

just call them to waive it every month. Those CS sure will tell you not to spend anything on your card until you fully settle your BT
