for new to bank or existing cards user? application for BSN is a bit difficult, you can't fax or email the form + docs they want to see the original one. You also need to get your employer to certify your pay slips

Just did few k BT to Citibank. The sale person asked me to make BT again before end of the month...

I cant seem to find this in their website.
How can I apply for this?

already ask them regarding their BT. the transferred amount is equally-divided throughout the tenure (unlike most other bank's which minimum 5% to pay until final month)..
any other banks offer 0% BT now? only knew Citibank, but most likely i wont make it in time (to apply before end of this month)

It's not on the website as it's a marketing ploy to sign-up new UOB Cardholders

citibank card holders...this is workable:

login ur account online.
send an email thru there.
i selected promotion enquiry, asked for BT 0% for 6mths.
i asked whether i'm eligible or not.if yes, pls provide me the form.


evening 6.15pm, cs called me about this n help me apply

havent finalize yet cos i asked him call me again tml.

Not sure on this...since i've been reading that some of the cc holders get the offer by receiving phone call from CS....
so i just try luck by approaching them instead....let me receive another call from them tomorrow first....i'll update here again...

The officer named Mark called. Double confirmed with him that the BT 6mths I'm having is 0%.

Another officer called in to process this. Give me hear the T&C, re-verify the amt, the account #
Ta daa.. "BT will be completed in 5 working days. However we will expedite it for 3 working days."
Info gotten --> 5% min payment, u must settle the total BT in 6th mths.
--> the BT info will appear in Mar'12 statement
--> payment that you made will be clear by hierachy. Eg --> You deposit $ into your cc account, it will be clear in sequence as --> Finance Charges, Retail Charges, EPP then only BT

So i consider i already get this 0% 6 mths BT to CitiBank cc

i have no any outstanding balance with cc, but interested to do BT to my personal acc and use that money for others thing.

question is.. can it be done?

Not possible.

BT is a concept of transferring balance from one CC to another CC; usually not from the same banks.

I managed to BT from CIMB BT account to UOB
ENSURE you have funds to pay your BT...else don't do it.
