QUOTE(ic3joker @ Aug 28 2011, 01:19 PM) yes i am talking about the firmware. of cause this is alright. ohya if kies cannot detect you phone, go into setting>application>developers>untick usb debug. hmm, it is unticked by default. The problem is, the window can't detect the usb device, so can't install the driver for the phone, therefore kies can't detect the phone... as the picture shown above, is the firmware any problem? I realized the baseband is different with the build, may this causes the problem? since the kies can't detect the phone, so I also can't use odin to flash right? what should I do now?

QUOTE(ic3joker @ Aug 28 2011, 05:15 PM) o. go to first page download the drive and install. after that your pc can detect your phone. I have another i9003 which is mine, and it can detected by kies without any problem, that means I had the driver for the USB already isn't it? and i tried to uninstall the driver and reconnect the phone, my bro's i9000 won't get any device installing notice in the window... anyone?

QUOTE(ic3joker @ Aug 28 2011, 11:36 PM) why uninstall the driver? if you need i9000 to connect to your pc just install driver from first page. agree with the random reboot. after using for 2 days, batery life is ok it can last like 24 hours for me with moderate usage after flash to talon. speed is good, quite fast for custom rom, but i still can see feel a little bit lag maybe i used to cm7 . lockscreen wallpaper cannot be change, no overscroll effect but i feel its fair and good to exchange those with speed.it can run tw4.5 with total 10widgets in 5pages on destop smoothly. consider not bad but not stable enough for daily use. at least 2-3 tmes hang and reboot per day. so that's it. it doesn't give me any response even I installed the driver (that i9000). not even kies, or window notification...

QUOTE(terrence_my @ Aug 29 2011, 02:06 AM) so that's it. it doesn't give me any response even I installed the driver (that i9000). not even kies, or window notification... I set the USB connection setting to "Ask on connection", then I plugged in the USB cable, and nothing happens. no usb debug mode, and the cable is usable and the drivers are installed as my SGSL can connect perfectly.

QUOTE(noobie1 @ Aug 29 2011, 01:19 PM) trial period extended try set to use kies? useless... the phone doesn't response, both my laptop in win 7 32bit/64bit with same kies installed also the same, so the problem should be from the form.
