QUOTE(ic3joker @ Aug 12 2011, 01:07 AM) no cm7 custom kernel. thanks man, i'm reading the troubleshooting and installation guide in xda, most of them use ROM MANAGER... it is the same to the one in nitrality and you can also dl the latest nightly manually into sd card n flash them using cvm rit?... i think da cvm method is easier......LOLif you didn't use data then no active should be ok. but active it is so easy why not? latest nightly of cause. go launcher works in cm7. |

Currently on cm7 find it similar to stock rom but smoother. Abit plain but I can always apply launcher thinking of how to get the icon in setting some colour tat will be nice. Alot of customisation can be done without changing kernel is the best part. Cm7 I'm loving it ^^
Added on August 12, 2011, 7:52 pmOh btw do I need to install cwm again using rom manager before I can use it to updates nightlies? The thanks This post has been edited by mendoksei: Aug 12 2011, 07:52 PM |

Unless of course you're trying to straight away do things as the phone is booting up i.e. when services are loading and storage is being scanned. izzit... i still feel bit lag wen i open go sms pro n go dialer.... hmmm.... |

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Aug 18 2011, 09:56 AM) I am happy with CM7 because it fulfills nearly all my needs, except for push notification for everything which Android does not do well enough to satisfy me without needing to set polling interval (e.g. twitter and facebook). no wonder... 1. CM7 is bloody fast and smooth, with simple UI (I don't like ROMs that prioritize beauty over speed). 2. CM7 lasts almost 24 hours on standby for me even with background sync, auto sync enabled (I have a bigger 2700mah battery ma). 3. CM7 is stable so far, no weird FC, no reboot/boot issues. You wish to improve your experience with CM7? Be careful about the apps you use. I stick to really free and some paid apps, I don't use pirated stuff. Most issues I face on Android tend to be due to apps, not the OS or the ROM. I only have about 50 plus apps on my phone, because I don't play games on my SGS and I don't do video and audio playback too (I have my Galaxy Tab 7 for this). Welcome to CM7 club, btw |
