I think you should just get to the Samsung Centre and have them flash it for you. I believe they'll flash gingerbread straight into your phone, and you could ask them on if there's a problem connecting the phone to the pc. smile.gif

I wonder if any of you are on TW 4.5, do you know how to revert back to TW 3? There's a few things that I can't seem to make it work, and gives me a bit of FCs.

Hey guise. Help me out will ya?

I've installed TW 4.5, and I didnt particularly like it, kept giving me FCs and whatnot. So I backed up my phone using CWM (on Galaxian) and installed a new ROM. I've managed to restore the SMSes and Contacts(using SMS backup and saved my contacts in the simcard) but I forgot to backup my Memo, which has some important stuff in it.

And now I'm going back to JV9(the rom which I backed up all the stuff) and used Speedmods CWM to restore but I can't seem to get any of my stuff back, not even my contacts + sms @_@.. help?

hh7edit: Okay now Im back on galaxian and managed to restore everything back, though my messaging looks messed up. Will find the .apk for it. >_>

2ndedit: Crap now I've deleted contacts.apk and messaging.apk through Titanium backup and when I wanna install contacts.apk it says application not installed. HALP rclxub.gif

It's like one after another. Contacts + messaging app restored, I've lost my phone.apk LOLOL.

Restored my Galaxy S back to its former glory. Phew.

I'll backup every single thing first before I jump to another ROM lol laugh.gif

I reinstalled TouchWiz 4, it was on XDA's page, under SGS i9000 themes and apps.

Downloading gingerReal now smile.gif. Need a stable rom, seems this would suit me well. Will be away for Raya, and I wouldnt want a phone thats barely usable >_> JV9 seems to give me more problems . Even gallery would get stuck lol.

Oh I dont need it to run all that smoothly, its just at times my gallery would get stuck and I have to reset the phone >__________>

Getting FCs here and there.

Download the rom, find the version saying WIPE VERSION, then flash it through CWM(recovery mode)
