Copied from SGS II thread. On how to download Amazon's daily free apps. Anyone tried?

1)create a AMAZON account.
2)get your fake details from: www.fakenamegenerator.com
3)once account is created, download the app onto your android
4)sign into the app and start downloading the daily free apps.

*Amazon does not check your IP, only checks the address you register with them.
the site above will help you generate fake address, credit card,name,etc..everything you need.

hye, i've ask about my picture quality where with 5MP (resolution 2560 x 1920) setting, i only get picture size between 400kb to 700 kb

is that because of my phone ROM?

because i've read u all talk about ROM

my Kernel Version is 2.6.35.7-perf , root@DELL88 #1

something got to do with this kernel version?
btw, congratz for the V20 thread  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

can you upload sample somewhere?

EDIT: ok i've snap a pic with normal quality and the size is 0.8mb only.

hye guys..im new to android and ofcoz galaxys..just bought mine yesterday..before i use symbian so i dont know how about it until i read from here..meanwhile when i read..i noticed that version 2.3.4 are out..and mine was 2.3.3..when i try to use kies to upgrade the firmware it says the device cannot update..have anyone experience it and i did read about odin and cfm..do this kind of flash will void my waranty?dont bash me ya u guys. i know u all very nice and helpfull one..smile.gif
*
welcome bro smile.gif
KIES is the official update by Samsung, and it depends on your CSC. it is diferrent between regions.
ODIN is the tool to flash unofficial rom, such as leaked rom, etc.
only rooting will void your warranty smile.gif

hand itchy..i want to try..btw any recomendation of all the mod that u have been used? rclxms.gif
*
flash 2.3.4, then flash back CSC for Malaysia. hehe
the main different between regions i guess is the CSC and swype version.
DXJV9 got BM's swype.

i flash fugumod kernel for the vodoo sound, then some mod for crt screen, extended menu, etc.

if i'm not mistaken, the Google 18 months policy means that a particular phone will only get update to the latest Android for 18months starting from the released date.

I think that only applies to phones released after the agreement was made. Need citation.

"The only hard number thrown out today is 18 months. That's how long future hardware will be in the support cycle (at least, anyway), so you'll "soon" be able to count on your next Android device receiving all applicable updates for 1.5 years after purchase."

Don't think there are much differences for JVP/JVH in terms of lagginess. Might be differences in kernel?
*
from my exprience JVP is very2 laggy. always hang. u can feel the different. no matter which kernel i use.

Update: According to Tweakers.net, Samsung's legal counsel has already announced that Samsung plans to continue selling its devices in the Netherlands by modifying its Gallery app. This should ensure that the Galaxy and Ace devices no longer infringe Apple's patent.
