Huarrgghhh... Long time not flashing. So many custom ROM now. Which one you all suggest for me? I want:

- Stability
- Long lasting battery
- No lagging
- Rooted
- RAM Optimization
- % battery
- Arabic shaping fixed
- Call recording (maybe can suggest some app if still not available on Gingerbread)

Who have trying SenseStyle [2.3.5][JVS]? Is it ok?

Got answer from the rom thread at xda-developer:
QUOTE
enable_netfilter script can be found under "/res/scripts" and should be copied under "/system/etc/init.d" and give "Execute" permissions. Reboot the device to use it.

QUOTE(saya_zharif @ Sep 28 2011, 09:17 AM)
why would you need kies when u already flash a custom ROM? @@

Dynamic I so far so good? battery life ok bro?
*

With Samsung Kies, I can easily manage phone book, message, memo and multimedia content. I also like to have more than just one backup, I already use Titanium Backup, but still backup phone book and message by Samsung Kies. In case I loose my phone, I have other backup.

Copy the enable_netfilter script from /res/scripts to /etc/init.d?
*
Pikachu, I can't paste the file to /etc/init.d/ using FileExpert and Super Manager.

i forgot oledi that i had copy all those scripts after flashing the semaphore kernel.so its the kernel problem actually!!! doh.gif

oh ya,
i already backup my phone to gmail automatically and sync all sms by using SMS backup directly to gmail.so i no need to worry much...

so how the Dynamic II?is it good?so far my batt for Dynamic I rom is good!!besides,i got another batt for backup!
*

I think it not so good like Galaxy S II. biggrin.gif Still feel lagging some times.

QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Sep 28 2011, 10:46 AM)
Enable ROOT in File Expert settings, then remount system as RW. Then paste the file in init.d
*

Ok, done. But still cannot do tethering. Now, after plug the mini USB cable, it still return "No USB device connection", but I can hear the USB connected sound. When I check back the enable_netfilter's permission, it back to permission before.

QUOTE(saya_zharif @ Sep 28 2011, 10:50 AM)
i guess ill go for dynamic II if its good biggrin.gif snappy enough?
*
Aaa.. some useful apps gone, are you ok with this? Now I can't open the Microsoft Office file (.doc, .xls, .ppt, .docx, .xlsx, .pptx) Huhuu...

You need to be remounted as RW when you set the permissions. Also, need a reboot before it works.

Still not working.. Huhuu..

Have anyone tried this ROM: InnOvaTioN v5.2 XXJVS 10 Lockscreen OnAir 2011.09.23? Sound good, quadrant score so height than other ROM. With 10 lockscreen, I think, I will try this ROM tonight.

From the thread, they suggest to use the Galaxian Kernel, but the ROM come with Semaphore 1.7.0. Now I'm confuse, what kernel to use. Galaxian EE or Galaxian GT or Semaphore 1.7.5. blink.gif

im using that ROM, and flash GT version.
the quadrant score is insane i tell u  rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif
frequently got 2700+. one time reached 3100+.
but i still playing with the ROM, to test whether it got bugs or not.
on battery wise, seems acceptable. (i seldom use data connection).

Sound good. Can you tell me some detail about the battery life? I know, who want the best battery life, they suggest to use the EE version. For me, I want the smoothness with the good battery life. So, I want try the GT version or maybe Semaphore 1.7.5.

I failed on InnOvaTioN, after flashing 2 times, still got errors:
- cannot restore contact and messaging
- cannot save memo
- cannot do tethering by usb even I use semaphore apps to enable tethering

Now I'm back to Dynamic II, but I missed the Think Free Office and Gtalk. I just can install gmail by Nitrality apps.

Can anyone guide me how to get back Gtalk and Think Free Office? Thank in advance.

use Polaris Office instead

GTalk:
GTalk with video chat(from first page)
HowTo: GTalk 1.3 (video chat) on SGS I9000 with Gingerbread

Polaris Office:
SGS2 PACk : ported galaxy2 applications
Polaris Office from Galaxy S2
By the way, check this great game out, available for Android:

*
I've followed the guide but Polaris Office still return FC when I tried open a document. Huhuu.. The Gtalk failed to authenticate but it solved by replacing with Gtalk from Dynamic II apps package.

QUOTE(azamunekurone @ Oct 4 2011, 03:09 PM)
as far as i know,
dynamic rom also bundled all of the software before here
http://www.multiupload.com/88XPY82WS1

and when u said the InnOvation are not so good,
so i think better not to flash this rom and happily stay with gingerreal2..

after OC the gingerreal2 got 3304 antutu score but sometimes got few lag such as,keyboard cant type when opening contacts and i had the phone restart by itself once!

others,so far so smooth...running with semaphore 1.7.5 kernel
*

I've flashed the bundled software, but sad.. Think Free Office is not included.

Now I'm wondering why the lock screen for the Jkay unlock style just have 4 options after I change the Custom App option:

Updated to Dynamic III, JVT using non-wipe version. No FC on phone dial and messaging.

Just missed the FM radio and old alarm clock. Need to get the apps package, i've flashing the apps package from dynamic II, but the FM radio and alarm clock not included.
